It's not the external things but the internal things that count!!
Rom 14:16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of: 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. 18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. 19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
Our tendency as humans is to look at the external things in life. The things we can see and touch. Things that we can do and perform and control. The things that we think are important Paul says are not!
What is important is the internal things. The things you can not see like the Spirit of God IN YOU! Now you can see the manifestation of the Spirit working from the inside out but you can not see or touch the Spirit within man. You can see the fruit of the Spirit but you can not see the Spirit.
We see preachers preaching and making a big deal out of how many they water baptized and came up front in the church and saying these things are important but they are not. We see those who teach prosperity and healing as signs of the spirit or obedience but they are not! We see those who say you must speak in other tongues or you are not saved, but that is not true either.
What is important is the internal things like righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit! These things are the important things. These things are what makes a person know they are accepted and approved by God and men.
STOP looking at your external performance and start looking at your internal Spirit. STOP looking for signs to edify you and start walking by faith.
If you can see and touch it then it takes no faith. Faith is believing in what you can not see, touch or control. So put faith in Christ works and what He has done and accomplished. Put your faith in Christ and you will be worshiping God. God has reconciled the believer and made Him a New creature in Christ that is saved, secure and sanctified. A New creature that is loved, accepted and forgiven in Christ. A New thing that has been transformed from the inside out!

1Ch 10:13 So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it; 14 And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.
Saul did not listen nor seek God's counsel and he paid the price for it. Saul thought he knew more than God and sought his own path instead of God's path! He turned to others with the same evil heart and spirit. Self centered interest instead God's interest will hurt us every time.
We should be so grateful that God does not deal with us in this same way as Saul. He does not kill us because we fail and sin. We who are regenerated believers today under grace and bought by the blood of Christ are safe in that regard. But never think that it is wise or Ok to go to other spiritual mediums or horoscope type things. Don't think it is good to go to non Christians and someone who does not have God's best interest for your life.
Now I won't say to not seek advice from others because that is what the body of Christ is for and will do, but they should point you to Christ and His Word! They should want what God wants for you and that is righteousness, freedom and devotion to Him.
Don't be a Saul and turn to man or spirits of Satan but rather turn to the Holy Spirit and God's Word for your life decisions!

A time for everything!
Ecc. 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5.....
I recently was watching a movie based on the union organizer Jimmy Hoffa. Now Hoffa was not a nice guy but the union was something that was needed at the time. Business owners in the early 1900's took advantage of hard working folks. In fact much of what we have set up today in our normal labor pool is because of the union. 40 hour weeks are now common compared to 70-80 or more hours, and were worked without over time or pay at all. Vacation pay and health insurance are now common and needed and again came through the union.
BUT like everything greed and power comes in and ruins the thing that actually was needed. When man creates things it will eventually fail. But if it is God's creation it will NEVER FAIL!!!
There is a time for everything but only through Christ is their ETERNAL LIFE! Seek heavenly Godly things and keep focused on Him! He will never ever fail!
Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Submission to "THE" authority!
Israel had everything they ever needed to be saved yet they went about it all the wrong way! They had the covenants of promise and they Knew God as well as they had the law but they misused the law and went about trying to be righteous without God!
Romans 10:1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
It seems that we are still doing this. We go about using the Word of God in our own way and trying to be righteous according to our thinking. We misuse the Word of God to our own advantage. We manipulate the word and make our own standards and laws.
I have seen couples come for counseling and the man will say "isn't she suppose to give herself to me"? He is quoting the bible but misusing it in a demanding way to get his needs met! I usually says "Yes" the bible does say that but it also says to first "love" your wife and be "understanding" with her.
This is how many saints are today when it comes to submitting to authority! This is how the child is toward parents and wives toward husbands and husbands toward God! This is how citizens are toward city, state and federal government authorities and how this anti-government/authority thing that is going on today!
There is balance and right ways to handle talking to authority. While the wife may be right about a particular issue in the family and something the husband is doing wrong,... if she goes in calling him names and demanding her way, (even if her way is right) she is still sinning. How we handle things is just as important as the issue that needs to be handled!!!!
First we need to "submit to "THE" authority which Jesus Christ our Lord. Then we need to have a heart of "submission" to our earthly authority in our own lives. A heart of submission says "I will follow the authority up to the point of them asking me to sin directly", NOT INdirectly! Meaning we may think there is some conspiracy going on with a husband, boss or government but unless they ask you to steal, lie or kill.... for example, it is not direct! Just because you "think" they are evil does not mean we should not submit. ALL authority to some extent sins! Even YOU in authority!
So learn to be free through submission and you will be submitting to "THE" authority!
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Fighting the Government!
I so often hear Christians fighting against the government. The interesting thing is that the bible specifically address this. Lets read Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
It tells us to follow the government and honor them.  It does not tells to works "against" but rather to work "with". Now does that mean I have to agree with everything NO, but it does say to  have a different heart than what the world has toward the government.
Sometimes I think that believers act worse than non- believers. We are to be the example not the problem. We should stand for authority and discipline. We should cooperate with, rather than rebel against. Even when we disagree we should do so with respect and honor NOT out of bitter resentment or vengeance!
Peter says this
1 Peter 2:13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
1 Peter 3:17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
You see we don't help or fix anything when we rebel against the government or authority we make things worse. We make things worse for the authority and ourselves. For you see your conscience is at stake! Romans 13:5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

THE WORD OF THE LORD!
Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
Psalm 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
When I read different types of books I often get a very descriptive picture from the author. Hemmingway for instance is very descriptive. He tells how the person looks in great detail or what the scene is like in detail. The mountains were big, snowing and cold with green pine trees all around and so on and so on. Sometimes I want to say lets get on with it I don't need to know what is like in that great of detail . Lets get to the issue and point!!!
While "the Word of the Lord' is said through out the bible, it too can be descriptive but not so much that it gets boring unless your going through Numbers, HA! But the point is that God put in His Word what He wanted us to know and what He didn't want us to know!
His Word is perfect and right and true!! His word is life giving and whole and Holy!
Read His Word, After all His Word is His SON!
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.                                              
... 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

All Ministry!
All ministry needs support! Ministry always needs prayer support. All of us are to pray for all the dear saints and as Paul said for him also.  
Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Paul wanted prayer so that he would be bold and for any opportunity to share the mystery of the gospel. He wanted and asked for prayer and although his confidence came from Christ he also would need to be encouraged  by others.
All ministry needs financial support. No matter what in order to minister you must eat and live like any other person. So if you work a secular job to support your family and then teach a bible study or pastor a church or if you are paid a salary from your church or do both your ministry is supported. So no matter what financial support is needed for every ministry.
Paul said this in 2 Corinthians 11:8  I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.
Now Paul did not literally rob the churches he meant he took financial support from them so that he could minister and serve the churches. He was on a mission and needed help.
Some ministries are different yet the goal should be the same. For instance some are a study and only takes a hour or so each week. Some ministries might be to build a home for some folks and financial support of some kind will be needed for materials and labor perhaps. But the goal should still be to share the gospel. Another ministry may be feeding the hungry while all at the same time feeding the mind with the gospel.
My ministry is teaching and counseling the gospel. Teaching folks how to walk by faith and reconcile with others. Counseling hearts as well as feeding their minds with sound doctrine so that can live through Christ and have a victorious Christian life!
This ministry takes time and a all day type of thing. It is not backed by any organization nor do we sell products to support it. We take no salary from any church and so I ask that you consider financially supporting this ministry like any other missionary. Please pray about being a monthly or one time giver in order to share this great gospel of Jesus Christ!

MONEY AND MEDIA!! MISERY AND MISCHIEF!
As I have been watching a documentary on William Randolph Hearst the newspaper mogul of the 20th century, I have seen how even the media can make and control the world. The media left seems to only share the negative, sensual and attention getting news. After all bad news sells papers, or in todays times advertising and politics.
Whatever makes money and power is the key to the media and they can control much more than people think. Hollywood and Washington are joined in this as they lose with bad publicity. When the public does not like you, you don't get votes and you don't sell tickets to the movies and therefore your income and power goes down or  in some cases eliminated!!!
Many of the top national anchors make millions a year in their salaries. It had been reported that Matt Lower and Katie Couric both made some where up to 20 million a year for doing the Today show in the morning! Now these people need to make the news sensational. The networks need to make it bigger and repeat it often. Some anchors have even been fired for making up stories to sell and be even more sensational.
The so called polls that are taken for politics are shown over and over to the public, so how many times do the people who run for office look at them after all it affects them more directly then it does us. You see the media is powerful and whoever controls the media, news and the word that gets out can control almost every aspect of daily life.
This is why Hitler, Stalin and others have come to power. This is how the small minority groups like the LGBQT can become so powerful without being the majority! They don't stop talking and they don't stop getting the word out. They get headlines and they talk as if they are victims and therefore we need to help them become equal. The sad thing is that they don't really want equality they want to control and be in charge! And they want us to be like them!
Don't fall for this communist socialism or Nazism or LGBQT victim mentality as being normal for it is NOT!!! Speak up and share the gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the ONLY answer that is NOT self motivated and gives LIFE!!!!

THE GOOD OLD DAYS?
  My father in law used to say "the good old days weren't so good"! What he met was that we often look back and think when we were young how great it was. We stop and think there were certain morality and goodness that didn't cross the line. Yet God says nothing is new under the sun
Ecclesiastes 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. 10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
The "good old days" weren't so good as sin was then too. They had disease and storms and yes even world wars! They were stock market collapse and people die from starvation even more than today. The "good old days" are gone and regardless if they were better or worse we must deal with what we have today. The present is what is important to an extent but perhaps even more important is the future.
Your future is important. Where will you be a month, a year or even spend eternity. Are you in Christ? and if so,  Will you stand for Christ now or a month from now? Will you spend your life serving Christ and only Christ or is the family, job or money more important to you? Who do you serve? What you do today will affect your future!
The good old days may have been good or not for you, but they are behind us now. Make up your mind who you will serve today for your future is at stake! Serve the Lord with all heart by giving your self to Him. By receiving His love you are saying You are my God to whom I serve. By resting in Him you are saying I need no other comfort from anyone or anything else and therefore He is your God! By being obedient in heart and mind you are saying "I serve You Lord Jesus"!
The "good old days" may not have been so good So Make "today" your "good old days"!!!

False Prophets that teach Liberty under Law!
WHAT? Freedom under Law??? COME ON MAN!
When reading these verses we see Peter is writing to those who go through that tribulation period, but we still get a great deal of understanding from this Hebrew epistle.
2 Peter 2:1  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
... 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
Now the law comes back into play in that tribulation period to distinguish the difference but they are to keep that Law by faith in the Messiah, Jesus Christ. We see that there will be false teachers that will promise freedom "IF" they follow them. They will teach liberty while keeping the law without Christ. They are promising freedom while still pushing things of the law only. This is false because there is no freedom under law. There is no freedom apart from Christ.
We see this today just as much and perhaps more, under the grace age. That folks preach liberty while putting you back under law. You may say they don't push the law at my church but do you still keep ordinances of any kind.
The Catholics have 5-7 that must be done. The protestant churches keep at least 2 and some 3-4. Baptism and communion are ordinances given to the nation of Israel UNDER LAW! Tithing is UNDER LAW! Washing feet is UNDER LAW!
There are NO ordinances today except for the Law of LOVE under grace and found in CHRIST!
Don't follow teachers and churches and ordinances thinking there is freedom in them, for this just brings more bondage. You are free to praise and worship and live in Christ without the works of the law!

9/11 TODAY!
20 Years ago today was when the buildings and planes hit the New York building and will go down as one of the worst tragedies on U.S soil from a invading enemy. There was a hijacking over Pennsylvania also and members of that plane bravely sacrificed their lives and fought these hijackers and saved many below in the buildings they were going to hit.
Today we remember this great tragedy as we should. We want to think about the lost loved ones and their families. We want to remember also that while this tragedy is unbelievable and did happened, it did not destroy this GREAT COUNTRY.
We also want to remember and keep in sight that this is nothing new to the world and history. Wars have been going on since time began. Wars between countries,  people and yes in the name of God! James says it like this...
James 4:1  From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Make no mistake about this folks this 9/11 war, is a Spiritual war against Christ, Against freedom and against the God that you worship! This war is lust and pride at its peak. AND This lust, pride and fight is not going away either. And  it is not going away because Al-Qaeda or any other terrorist group took over Afghanistan but because the lust and pride of man continues to build and continues to be the down fall of mans conscience. Paul says this in 2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Are you Fake or Real?
Sadly the bible talks a lot about being fake or real! Their are those who are not saved or those who are. BUT The ones I am talking about are the ones who pretend to be saved and go to church verses the ones who truly are saved and either go to a church or not. Some saved folks just don't go to a so called organized church but do fellowship with other folks and that is church!
But the ones who say their saved are the ones that do nothing and say nothing spiritually and even live fleshly sinful lives yet want to say and pretend that they know Christ. Their works which are their daily every day living shows the opposite.
This is were the world and yes even some so called Christians say " the church is filled with a bunch of hypocrites". Well there maybe hypocrites in the church but there are a lot more outside and sometimes the ones who say there are a lot of hypocrites are "the hypocrites"!!!
To many folks are fake! Fake in many ways! For one they are not transparent or vulnerable. 2 they are not humble but rather seeking attention by being bossing or a know it all. They want to talk all the time about what they know verses ministering to others and listening to them.
So be real, by being humble, vulnerable and transparent. Be real by seeking the grace of Jesus, the love of God and the communion of the Spirit. Be willing to share the Grace, Love and communion with others and be real by first being truly saved in Christ!!!

FEAR NOT!
Don't be afraid nor back down in professing your faith in Christ in yet don't walk by hate and vengeance just continue to be aware and awake to the sin of hate and arrogance in the name of a god and be willing to forgive! Forgiveness does not mean allowing others to kill or not do do anything it means to allow "THE JUDGE" to judge! We are to still protect and provide God's Love and Word about His son Jesus Christ! Our God and through Jesus is a loving, peace filled and righteous God who was willing to die for us so that we would not need to work to show our devotion to Him but by the giving ourselves by faith we no longer need to perform and show our obedience or trust in outward signs of war or disillusioned methods!

Intro makes a big difference!
Paul always started his books with a intro of who he was and who he served. We too want to start out with a introduction even if folks know who we are. We can begin a conversation with a "Appeal"! "May I share something with you" You see if you inner into a conversation with yelling or scolding you will always offend before you even get started. So always appeal and began by asking for permission to share. They may not want to talk to you at that time, they may be hurt and upset with you or they are busy and in that case just ask if you can come by at a later date and time. Be willing to stop and start at another time.
Don't be demanding that they listen or that they change for this is sin on your part,... even if the issue to begin with was sin on their part. And don't add to the issue by putting in your 2 cents to the problem.
Lastly be willing to be vulnerable yourself. Share at the appropriate time and say "I felt rejected, hurt or angry...", or "I was wrong",...by using "I" words you are showing that you are taking responsibility for your thoughts, emotions and actions. AND  be sure you have forgiven them before sharing with them. Don't come from a victim mentality but rather someone who knows their identity in Christ and has renewed, and extended forgiveness already. The sharing should be to reconcile, correct, edify or let the person know what the problem was.
And if you just want to talk you can still appeal to them and comfort them by respecting their space and time.

Blogging on things!
Blogging on things that go on in the world today is quite a chore! We have the Taliban in Afghanistan and then getting Americans as well as Afghan's out safely. We have the different wars around the world and then we throw in the covid  and covid shot debate and lets not forget the different battles in schools for the mask mandates. There seems to be so much turmoil around the world, as well as in our own country.
My Doctor recently asked me as a pastor what do you tell your people when all this is going on? I told him that I tell them to keep focused on Christ! Don't get caught up in the things of the world. Don't focus on the news and calamity but keep focused on Christ! That does not mean we have to turn off the T.V. but you could!!!! That does not mean we put our head in the sand and not pay attention to things or deal with things if we need too!
AND it does not mean to run in FEAR either! We know where we belong and where we are going and to whom we belong too!!! We have Victory and Peace and Blessings already in us Now!!! So don't get caught up with those folks on T.V  news people who want to create fear which creates more interest, just to line their pocket books OH NO! You keep focused on your heavenly position IN CHRIST and be comforted in that NO MATTER WHAT!!!
Colossians 3:1  If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

CARNAL OR CARNAL CHRISTIAN!
    1 Corinthians 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
 
Paul calls the Corinthian church carnal meaning fleshly! It means by their sinful fleshly desires or to act like a animal in flesh like instinct instead of walking by the Spirit.
 
Now sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between a Carnal Christian and someone who is just Carnal, meaning Unsaved! A unbeliever is carnal but can actually come across looking pretty good compared to some so called believers. I have seen believers that act and behave worse than many unbelievers, at least they claim to be saved.
 
Lets look at what Paul says in Titus 1:16  They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
 
You see our works or our lifestyle should still represent a "Godly" lifestyle. Now I realize that we all sin, but to live life and a lifestyle without understanding or oblivious to sin is not Godly! When folks say "you do not need to clean up yourself before coming to God" that is correct, YET when the Spirit truly regenerates a person the spirit in that saved person is now a Godly Spirit filled saint who is cleansed spiritually and therefore sanctified, set apart in Christ. Now because he or she is sanctified spiritually the process of being sanctified in the Soul and Body will begin to take place and that person now becomes sensitive to Christ and His Word. They become awake, aware and sensitive as well as having a different understanding of Godliness and righteousness. In other words their mind changes and it begins to be Godly and then a transformed mind and body begins to take place.
 
So when a person is saved with a pure faith and heart things change. To continue to live as a liar, thief or homosexual is counter to living a Godly lifestyle. Conviction and change shows the sincere heart of the believer! A sorrow that leads to true repentance leads to faith in Christ and therefore a act of holiness! Their spirit is alive and their mind begins to desire the word and their body begins to act in righteous behavior. Never confuse the fact that there is not change and that it is not just a professing but a possessing of the SPIRIT OF GOD!
 
Works of the Law never save but works can show a carnal or faithful heart!

OOPS!! WHY DID PAUL FAIL TO DO AS JAMES SAID TO DO?
...2 Co 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.  
...James 5:14   Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
 
Paul could have been healed if he had just followed James's advice couldn't he? Why didn't he do what james said and walked by faith? After all it seems all we need to do is walk by faith and we are healed right! Or walk by faith , get prayed over maybe throw some oil on us and bang we should be healed right!
 
WELL it doesn't happened that way and no matter how many people say to you, just have faith it does not mean you will be healed. NO it is a different time and a different dispensation. No longer prophecy but mystery and in the mystery program it is not a healing program but a salvation program. It is not a earthy program but a heavenly one. If all it took to be healed was to be faithful than a lot more would be healed and there would be a lot less disease ridden people that is for sure.
 
Here's a question for you,...If you could be healed of all your sickness and not be saved nor go to heaven  would you do it, many would,...or if you could be saved and go to heaven and NOT be healed which would you take!!! You see this is how it works today.
 
Don't get down and think your not being faithful just because you are not healed!
Paul wasn't healed and I am pretty sure he was faithful!

I often hear folks and pastors talk about sin and what is sin. They talk about adultery or divorce and these things need to be addressed for sure. But they often address them from Jesus earthly ministry which was always under the law and under the Old Covenant.
They miss the grace message completely. They do not understand the dispensational change that has happened. Now while adultery is sin it is forgiven. While divorce is sin it is forgiven but it is not that you divorced it is the attitude behind the legality that makes it sin. It is being our own god, acting independent of "THE" God and being selfish that makes it sin!
Now no other sin can be more selfish and controlling than suicide. It is the ultimate in saying "I am God" and I choose to take my life. Yes I know that we struggle and depression is there and these folks are hurting. I AM NOT making light of this at all,  YET it is still a self centered act! The very reason we hurt and struggle is because we are trying to control all of life without Christ. We think we are justified for our feelings and that we are right and everyone else is wrong at least when it comes to emotions.
Suicide is sin, BUT what does the bible say about sin!!!! When did Jesus die for our sins? And did He die for ALL sins or just some or just the ones we confess??? The answer is clear in scripture!
Before you were born He died for your sin!!!
Romans 5:6  For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
He has already forgiven you!!!
Ephesians 4:32  And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
AND He has forgiven you of ALL your sins!!!
Colossians 2:13  And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
The only SIN that is NOT forgiven is the SIN of UNBELEIF! If you are saved, regardless of adultery, divorce or suicide it is still forgiven and you are still in Christ!!!!
NOW with that said let me say that sin of any kind does not edify or build up others or help you in any way! Don't sin because you can, but GIVE as CHRIST GAVE TO YOU!!!!

Somethings not right here?
The Olympics have started and something just does not seem right. There are no fans to watch the games which seems odd. It seems to take away from the atmosphere even though I know that it is all about the competition. Everything seems off and not as exciting.
There are lots of things in life that just seem off and not right. I can see them but I know something is not right. Like when I see two women or men together. I know that scripture say it is sin and it is. So when I see them I see two people that look like two humans but something is just not right. At first they look like they "love" one another, and they hold hands like a man and women would and they act like they are a couple but something is not right!
In the Olympics I see all kinds of shirts and flags that boast about being "Gay". They are pretty with a rainbow but it just does not seem right. If homosexuality is a normal way of life why do they need to keep promoting it to "BE" normal. Something just is not right!
In scripture there are lots of things that seem normal but not right. There are lots of things that are just shadows but not in operation today!
Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
What sometimes seems normal or even ok are actually wrong! They are just shadows of something real they are not real or RIGHT! False truth deceives and that is Satan's number one tool. Take what is real and true and turn it inside out so that our focus is on the wrong things and not on Christ!
... 20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, 21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not; 22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? 23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
Under the covenant's to Israel comes the law and ORDINACES. They are things that are good for Israel but not for us today as we are not under those ordinances, and therefore do not follow the shadows but we follow the real deal, JESUS CHRIST!
What may seem like "love" is not, it is "lust" disguised as love. Don't let mans ways in anything keep you from the REAL DEAL, JESUS!
 
 
The Wisdom of God!
1Co 2:5  That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
The word wisdom is used 4 x in these verses. Solomon had wisdom and it was given to Him By God! God "is" wisdom and love and grace!
We have the wisdom of God in us as we have God in us. We have the wisdom of God in scripture form too and can access it daily. We can read and understand the wisdom that is already in us. The more we read, renew and rest in the word the more wisdom we have in our soul, which contains our mind, will and emotions.
If you lack wisdom it is because you don't know the word so read and rest until that which is already in you manifest itself in your mind. Don't just be anxious and in a hurry to be Solomon!
Wisdom means to have discernment, knowledge and understanding of something. Well Spiritual discernment comes with devout faith! Being faithful will help you be wise after all the first the thing we need to know is
Pro 1:7  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Walk by Faith, by Walking in Wisdom and Grow in Grace!

One Spirit, One baptism!!!!
I recently read a post on Facebook that said "I don't know why Christians resist the indwelling of the Holy Spirit"! Meaning a second indwelling of the spirit after being saved and proven out by speaking in tongues! They use many verses but here is one....
Act 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. 16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? 18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life. 19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen traveled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.  
Now the problem is 2 fold, they forget that the Word was prophesied to Israel that they would receive the Spirit to keep the Law! This is the NEW Covenant given to Israel!!!
Jer 31:31  Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
So this was given to those Jewish saints that believed by faith that Jesus was the Messiah. Notice in Acts 11:19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen traveled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only. Now we need to understand that at that time the transition from Israel to the Messianic church (or the church at the temple we could say) and then to the Body of Christ was taking place at that time.
And because of this transition and the other reason they that teach a 2nd baptism is the fact they do not rightly divide the truth. They do not take into account the "New Creation" called the Body of Christ.
So when you look at todays dispensation we see only ONE LORD, ONE SPIRIT and ONE BAPTISM and ONE TIME SALVATION taken place!!!
1Co 12:13   For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
Eph 4:5   One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Don't let the hyper sensationalist that teach a 2nd indwelling and the speaking in tongues people fool you!!! Stand firm in Christ and that you are indwelled with the Holy Spirit from the day of your salvation! Thank God and Praise Jesus Christ our Lord!

Always the Same, Puts God in A Box too!!!!
I am often called different names such as false teacher, prophet and so on. Any one who teaches expects this at some point and time. Anything different or against mans so called religious thinking gets attacked as being some "false teacher" and while it sounds Spiritual it isn't, it is just religion!
Sometimes I am accused of putting "God in a box" because I say "He does not do this or that today". Many of these accusers will say "God did it before, therefore He does it now".
BUT that puts God in a box also. That means that God can't change His mind or direction with man kind. That says God has to do everything according to the Old Covenant. These religious accusers often quote Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Meaning that God "never" changes therefore "He still" does this or that!!! Oh No, No, No!!! God has changed the dispensations all through the bible several times. He has redirected His will in the way He deals with man and we should be glad He did or we would be in BIG trouble!
While God's character is always the same meaning He is always Holy and Perfect, He has changed and did change how He administers and deals with man based on mans obedience to Him.
God is the same Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever, BUT He can also say "it is finished" or not! The bible is finished and complete and therefore He speaks though His written Word and by His Spirit which is "IN" man! He did talk to man verbally and audibly under the Old Covenant but He can stay silent and speak through His Word and Spirit as He does today.
Don't make the mistake of misusing a verse in order to "PUT" God in box either,  His Word and Body is His Voice today!

Yeshua!
Some times I hear folks say Yeshua meaning Jesus! Yeshua was His name and it really means in Hebrew Joshua which translates Jesus. Now when I hear people use that 9 x out of 10 I know that they are trying to be "spiritual" and act like a Israelite. They want to keep the laws and dress and perform like Jews. The problem is that they are not Jews, nor Israel nor "Spiritual". They are prideful and arrogant and trying to be "more"!
They are wanting to have a "identity"!!! You can not know a so called faithful, normal Christian as he walks down the street and that is because His God and His his Lord are within, but a so called "spiritual" person wants everyone to notice him and say "OH they must be religious because look at how they dress and talk, "THEY ARE......"!
Mat 23:5 " But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments",...
You see we are NOT to stand out as far as our appearance but rather our heart, demeanor and attitude shows the Spirit within. We are NOT took look like we are "spiritual" because we "ARE" spiritual. This is why I say tattoos, long hair and beards are nothing more than trying to "be spiritual" and get attention.  It is our genuine, sincere "good works" that shows our true nature and heart, not by some long haired, tattooed and bearded Jesus looking appearance.
So don't try to be "SUPER SPIRITUAL" and use Hebrew words that you don't use any other time. Speak English (if that is your native tongue or what ever nation and language you are in...) and show the world the spirit that indwells you by preaching the cross, teaching grace and walking by faith. Demonstrate in attitude and love who you are in Christ. Don't seek attention but rather "GIVE" attention to those who need Christ!
Matthew 23:11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted".

COWARD!
Rev 21:8  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
This word fearful in this passage has to do with a coward. Someone who is not just fearing a one time issue but has the character of a coward.
When it comes to some issues in the church today I see allot of cowards. I see allot of believers who will not make a stand against the homosexual agenda.
This agenda is like a plague of evil that is swooping in like locust through out the church and our society. If we don't stand and speak against it we will be immersed in it.
Some of you think that it is just another sin and it is,... but NO OTHER SIN is ACCEPTED in the CHURCH!!!!!
You don't see priest or pastors that murder, commit adultery being accepted as ok! You don't see openly allowing these sins being passed over, in fact I have seen many a pastor lose there jobs and being kicked out of the church for having affairs and or looking at porn IN YET they can be a homosexual, COME ON MAN!!!!
WAKE UP CHURCH! This not just another sin, it is a SIN that is destroying the very conscience of the church. IF you don't speak out in some way YOU ARE A COWARD!!!!

Are you a Martyr?
Act 22:20 And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of them that slew him.
Are you a Martyr? I hope so! The word Martyr means "a witness"! We are all called to be a witness for Christ! I don't mean "to" witness I mean "A" witness.
A witness for Jesus is someone who "lives" there life for Christ. Their life is a "living sacrifice" and a "living Martyr" for Jesus.
Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
A Witness does not mean just talking to someone else that is "witnessing" but a witness is how that person lives!!
Unfortunately we have few true martyr's or witnesses in the church. So many are "lukewarm" type of saints. They may go to church or prayer meetings but they live their lives like a fleshly, natural unsaved person would.  
A martyr is not a one time event but a life time of dedication to our Lord!
So be a martyr for Christ by living everyday as if it is your last day for Christ sake!!!

The Marriage Example!
Marriage!
Marriage is a great illustration when it comes to showing our relationship with Jesus.
So many folks claim to be Christians. So many claim to know Jesus yet there seems to be no true fruit. No I 'm not talking about fruit that evangelizes or goes on a mission trip. I'm talking about the fruit of the Spirit. Peace, Joy and love. I 'm talking about faith, goodness and righteousness. I'm talking about a true humbleness that says I know my sin and I know this Saviour called Jesus.
Often times people live with each other before marriage. Some even say they are married. But there is difference in knowing someone like your finance or partner verses being joined in all areas. You can go to the ceremony and look deep into each others eyes and think all kinds of emotions but until you say "I DO" your still not married!
Being Joined in commitment to God, family and financially. Joined in Spirit , Soul and Body. Committed to the point of giving your life for the other. Eph 5:25  Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; You can not do that if you are not married as you have already shown that you are not willing to be joined lawfully. You have not joined in unity, judicially or legally before God or state! What you are showing is still a INDEPENDENT attitude from the other in some form. Don't be fooled by those who claim to be committed but are not married. The old saying of "prove it" can apply!
You can fool others, maybe even yourself,  but you can't fool God!!!! Be committed and give yourself to God as He has ALREADY GIVEN HIMSELF TO YOU!!!!

Mystery Wisdom!
Have you ever wanted to say something so bad to help someone. To say what was true to someone but you knew that you would be saying something to someone who would not receive it. You want to say it so bad and maybe a little vengeance on top of that. You are so sick and tired of their behavior or lying or manipulation. But you did not say it and just kept it a secret to your self.
Well God kept a secret too. And he kept it for a long time yet His secret was not in vengeance but love. You see He kept the secret of salvation to the gentiles by Christ death, burial and resurrection until after Israel's rejection of their Messiah. He kept it secret because they would not have crucified Him!
1Co 2:7  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
They knew about the New Testament to come. They knew about the Messiah and King they were to have. They knew because it was prophesied, Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
but the mystery age was never known. This mystery that you enjoy today was not known, it was hidden from them and they would not grasp it. The New Covenant was known but the Mystery was not. This mystery message gets benefits from the New like the Holy Spirit living in man, but the New Cov. was for Israel to keep the Law by God's power. God is the Law giver, the Law taker and the Law keeper! It will be by God's strength in those end times so that they will be able to go through it.
We never had the Law and are not under Law! This Mystery is God's offering of salvation to the gentile WORLD since Israel rejected it.!!! By offering this salvation directly to the gentiles it is called Grace. Salvation without going through Israel and without works of the law would be a act of God's will and grace toward man without their efforts. It is based soley in trust in the cross works of Christ!
Col 1:26  Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Eph 3:9   And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
Rom 16:25  Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, 26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
This Mystery Message is the Message that saves you! The Mystery of Christ in You, Regenerated and ALIVE in Him!!

"You are now entering the mission field"!
2Ti 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
I once had a bible study at a church and when you drove out of the parking lot it said
"You are now entering the mission field"
You are a evangelist!!!! We are to share the cross of Christ! We are to tell people our testimony and tell them the good news of Jesus Christ. The question about how to share is often asked. Or I hear " I don't know how or what to say"! Well first take into consideration "who" you are talking to. How long have you know them.
If you just met them ask about them. Get to know them by asking the 4 "F's"!
What do you do for Fun or ask them about their Family? Where or If they work which deals with their Financial area. Which can often lead into helping them in some way...and lastly their Faith! "Do you go to church"? "what church or where did you go when you were young"? Tell them about your Faith, Family and fun things you like to do. Take your time, this isn't a race. One day it is about their Family and the next week you may ask about their Faith. Fun things always bring interest and light knowledge about them.
RELATIONAL CHRISTIANITY! It is always better to have a relationship than not when trying to evangelize. Cold calling, or demanding street blast are NOT the best way to share. That does not mean that it does not work but the percentage is much lower. Also events like Harvest or Billy Graham evangelist crusades are not as good either as one on one evangelism. Again it does not mean it is wrong to have them but the percentage is much lower and the person does not fall through the cracks. People what to know you care about them and they are not another religious notch on your belt. They want to know that you have real answers and that Jesus is real not just a another religious relic.
Discipleship afterwards is also just as important. We don't want to just abandon them after they are saved. Take them to church and teach and spend time with them. Listen to them and learn what they think or what they are going through. To evangelize is just like a parent who gives birth than raises that child. While the birth process is exciting the maturing process is just as important!!!
So share your testimony with others and seek to lead them in some way to Christ. You may not be the one who leads them to Christ but you can help guide in some way. You may not be there when they take that first step but you can teach and minister to them afterwards.

Wanted Dead or Alive!
In todays times we often struggle with hope. We often go through so much that we seem to lose hope! Much of what we go through can be helped if we put life into perspective. Our tendency is to stare to long at the problem instead of the solution.
Rom 14:7  For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
Life and death matters are important in the small things as well as the big things we deal with. When we compare death to the things we are going through, life is not so bad. And if we look past death, and toward what we gain in Christ, in heaven peace comes. We have that security and hope.
God Wanted us dead or Alive and we are His dead or alive so live life in hope not in fear!

Rom 13:1 "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake".
I am sure that most elderly ladies feel a sense of loss when their spouse passes away. But there also may be a sense of relief from being under that authority. The thinking might be "I can do what I want"! "I am not responsible for anyone but myself, and can go were I want without telling anyone". OR....
Yes there are certain freedoms that come from not being under authority but it can also be dangerous grounds too. As we look at the U.S. and we so much anti-authority and anti-police and we see criminals becoming heroes and we see a decline of morals, behavior and of course more crime. The ones who are to protect and provide boundaries and law are now being put on trial. They are now the ones that have become the criminals and the criminals are now the ones being immortalized!
When we condone and accept sinful behavior as the norm our society begins to crumble! We have seen over the last few years a acceptance of homosexuality, transgender and every other type of sexual perversion become lawfully accepted. When the LAW of the land begins to approve of these things and the authority begins to not hold to Godly values we miss lead and the thinking gets twisted. We see this in every area now.
Rules and Regulations are important and when followed they even have Rewards. First there are no punishment. You don't get in trouble if you follow the rules. 2nd and most important you have a "good conscience" which is more important than getting in trouble.
Peter says in1Peter 3:16 "Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. 17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing".
Authority is there by God, for God and to protect you. Authority is good and when taught and we learn God's ways, God's rules and God's regulations we will have a healthy balanced and spiritual life! And best of all you will have a "good conscience" before God.

Hey, What happened to Enoch?
Gen 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Enoch was just Gone! I wonder if they sent out a missing persons report!
This is all we know about Enoch until we get to the New Covenant books. You see Under the Old Covenant we often see things that reflect the things "to come".  We see Jesus in the Old Cov. books and the Old show us different types of things under the New.
Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
You see Enoch was "caught up", raptured and is a type of the church that is is taken before the Flood! The wrath of God upon man and the earth. Just like we also will be "caught up" before the wrath to come which is that tribulation period.
God does not punish the righteous with the unrighteous! God does not send judgment on His saints and sinners at the same time!
Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
We will be "caught up", raptured and spared the wrath of God so don't fear what is to come. Keep looking up and keep your mind and heart on Jesus Christ! Be comforted and keep that Hope in Him alone!
1Th 4:16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

GOD'S LOVE!
We all experience different things growing up. Some perents were patient some were not. Some parents are permissive some are authoritarian.
The one thing we all have experienced in life is rejection. In some form we all have been disrespected or dishonored. We all have been teased, bullied or called names. Kids can be the worse even if they are just kidding.
Some of us have been molested or raped or beaten harshly. Some us have felt so rejected that we wanted to commit suicide.
BUT let me say to you that you are not alone and that no matter what you have done or what others have done to you, YOU ARE LOVED!!!
Romans 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
No matter what, when or who rejection has come from,God's love can heal! God's love applied like salve can bring healing and even make you stronger and feel more secure and confident.
Don't let past hurts control you, let God's love heal you! Walk in God's Love!!!

LEADERSHIP IN THE CHURCH TODAY!!!
Act 24:2 And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence, 3 We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness. 4 Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words. 5 For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes: 6 Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.
As Robin and I read through our morning bible study together, we read here in Acts 24 about how the Jews were accusing Paul, and it reminded me of the different ways of thinking as far as church leadership. There are elder led, meaning a group of men and there are bishop or pastor led churches. There are also churches that are group congregational led all though that is never biblically sound or explained in scripture. Now all 3 have advantages and disadvantages.
Elder led churches can be good because not one man has total control per say, But it usually takes for ever to get things done and everything has to be voted on as well as men pleasing can swing things in a wrong direction also. The same with congregational led churches who vote on everything. While it seems more democratic and giving people a vote it usually takes forever to get things done and more often than not through out the bible the congregation had it wrong. They would tell Aaron to make a idol... or they would want a King and got Saul.... and on and on through out the bible the "crowd" is swayed and usually ended up bad.
Now God has always used individuals to lead. Paul is one of those as we see him as the Apostle to the gentiles and our leader for today. And at the same time the pastor who teaches usually will have the insight, vision and discernment needed to edify the saints. Now that does not mean that he should stand alone in all things and neither does it mean that he is to rule with a iron hand but he is not a hireling than can be hired and fired, Nor should he be a "yes" man either. He needs support and help and can incorporate men to help as well as seek out the congregational needs.
Pastor led is the best with support from faithful men and prayer from the congregation is usually the way to go. He needs to be humble, loving and most important teach the Word of God with power, authority and wisdom. He needs to discern dispensationally and teach the grace and mystery message for today.

WORTH, WALK AND WORTH!
So often I hear two arguments when I share or write on things. One side is the "we are saved and that is all that counts" side! The other is "I fail all the time, I don't know if I am saved and God is not doing anything" side.
The problem is that there is more to the Christian life than "just being saved"! But that is the first thing that needs to happened. We need to be born in order to live the rest of our lives right. But then also there is the way we live the rest our lives! Are we going to walk by faith and be productive in life. Now you don't need to be productive in order to be saved but we are called to walk and work also!
The other side is that "I sin and fail and I don't know if I am saved" thinking. "I seem to be always starting over and trying to be saved again"!
We need to understand our "Worth" in Christ! The first 3 chapters in Ephesians tells us our worth in Christ. It tells us "who" God is! It tells us "what" Christ has and "who" we are in Him!!! It gives us Our "WORTH" IN HIM!!!!
Chapters 4-5 tells us our WALK! Eph 4:1  I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,....
Our walk is the part of "renewing" our minds and walking by faith in our daily life. It is choosing to receive and rest in His love. It is putting off and putting-on! It is knowing "WHO" you are in Him and knowing your "WORTH" then walking daily in that "worth"! You are walking with confidence, security and boldness.
Then in Ephesians 5-6 we see our "WORK"! We are to love others and serve the church as well as bring others to Christ! Praying and edifying the Body in some way. It tells us how to operate in our families, work and church. It tells how to treat our spouses and children!
So read Ephesians and know your "Worth, Work and Walk" in life!

Stephen, Stiff-necked and Standing!
Stephen was a Deacon that was asked to serve the Grecian widows because they felt cheated out of the daily ministering that others received.
Act 6:1 "And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration. 2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables."
Now today most deacons in the church are not picked because they are faithful men who know the word but they are picked because they know how to fix things and work hard. They can "do" things and be involved but many do not know or read the bible. In fact I have counseled and observed over the years that about 50% of them are not saved.
BUT Stephen was a faithful man and full of the spirit the bible says....
Act 6:5 "And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:"
AND
Act 6:8  "And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people". ... 10 "And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake".
He was so strong in faith and power that they could not help but listen. He spoke with the power and wisdom of God. In fact Stephen was the last prophet to speak before Israel to convince them of their sin and to give them another opportunity to repent!
BUT they resisted and he called them stiffnecked!
Act 7:51 "Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye".
Stiffnecked means rebellious, stubborn and obstinate! That is what allot of folks are today aren't they. They fight , argue and justify their position no matter what and lose the thing they need which is Christ! They are prideful and self righteous but they resist the very Spirit and hope of eternal life.
Sadly the Calvinist teach that man can not resist the spirit. They say that God chose certain men to be saved and that man can not resist the spirit. Well Israel did and Stephan told them they did. Any one can resist the spirit and choose sin and death. So they were stiffnecked toward the Messiah.
So after they resisted the Spirit and Stephens rebuke, Jesus STANDS UP from sitting at the right hand of God.
Act 7:55  "But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesusstanding on the right hand of God".
Remember He was sitting at the right hand of God but now He stands and that means a judgement upon Israel. He judges them to be a apostate nation. He judges them to the wrath of God and that will come later but He will first gather as many gentiles as he can. Israel will no longer be the agent to the world but the gentiles will be that agent of grace to the world. They will be the mouth and body to spread the word of God. They will be the church and they will preach the salvation message to the world.
So don't be Stiffnecked and Stubborn but rather be like Strong like Stephen and Stand Like Jesus in Victory! Stand Strong in His power and wisdom and share the "good news" of the Gospel of Grace to a lost world!

3 in one today!
Who do I pray to?
I once had a friend that prayed to Jesus instead of God. He thought that was who we were to pray too.Often times we hear someone pray to Jesus instead of God and it sounds odd to some of us. We are to repent, pray to God the Father for He is the authority even over Jesus, but we have faith through Jesus!
Act 20:21 "Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ."
Now God the Father is the one who forgives sins Yet Jesus had that power and authority too. So I encourage you to pray to God the Father by faith in Jesus Christ but they are both valid!
And with that being said we can also rest in the fact that Jesus is the express image of God!  
Heb 1:2 "Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;"
Yes I know that Jesus was the form of a man and God is Spirit, but in character and power they are the same. Jesus is God the son, and God is God the Father. So while trusting in Jesus Christ as your redeemer and salvation provider you are repenting to God the Father. The understanding of repenting is a "change of mind" from flesh (sin) to FAITH in Christ, GOD!

REPENT!
On another note Some grace teachers teach that repentance from sin is not necessary, but I would disagree. Repentance is from Genesis to Revelations....Now they may be right as far as "just" stop sinning is NOT repenting, but to say to not repent or that it is not valid is wrong also. What always needs to be presented is the definition of repentance! The definition is NOT " just stop stealing, lying or sinning...." but rather a "change of mind" from self to faith in Christ! The best way to describe this for the believer is found in the bible. To PUT-OFF and PUT -ON,
Col 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: ... 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

TATTOOS!
One more thing is on my mind today. I recently heard a popular pastor state that he thought tattoos are ok and that he had gotten several after his conversion. Well as you might know I disagree!!!! First of all the bible says to not get them and second of all it is not that the tattoo itself is the only thing but the motive that is self serving. When we sin we are being our own god and independent of THE God. We are trying to play like we are God!!! God has certain prerogatives that we don't. He sets the rules and standards. He can take vengeance and control life. He deserves the attention and acceptance of mankind, but when we do it we are acting as if we are God. Getting a tattoo is drawing attention to SELF! For this pastor to get one is drawing attention to himself not Christ. He is trying to say "hey look at who I serve" by pointing at himself,...that is with selfish motives! The whole point of the grace message is that we no longer have external ways of expressing our faith but rather it is a internal, eternal Spiritual salvation and Life in us and expressed by LOVE NOT TATTOOS!!!!!
(ps. it is different if you had them prior to salvation, same reason but different timing.... I am not condemning, I am just teaching you. Also if you got them after salvation, be honest with your self, repent and renew and see the selfish motive of wanting attention for them.)

MARRIAGE AND THE BODY OF CHRIST!!
The church today is not a nation nor a particular denomination or religious thinking. It is Jesus Christ and His body on earth as well as heaven. So think of the church as a living organism instead of a organization. It is a moving, walking and talking organism that shares and serves the head and that is Christ!
Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell;
And just like your body with cells, fingers and different parts but still one body. Now your body works as one unit yet has different functions. Your fingers pick up things while your hair just sits there. Your inward parts are always pumping blood or breaking down food or things, and other parts work muscles, joints and ligaments but ALL one organism working together.
The Body of Christ works the same, different ministries, and different looks yet all one.
Rom 12:4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
Now it needs to be said that, that "oneness" always needs to be defined. It is always to be by faith, in grace and by the cross work of Christ, not by Law, works or rituals!
With that said marriage is the same way! Marriage is two people, by different sexes coming together to be ONE BODY! One in Spirit, Soul and Body! Now there can be counterfeits and wrong applications of that one body just like in churches that call themselves Christians and apart of the body BUT ARE NOT!!! They can be perverted churches and marriages!
Now just like in the Body of Christ there needs to be unity and oneness and that is not by rituals or outward traditions like the communion of crackers and grape juice but rather the communion of unity in spirit and heart in Christ.  
1Co 10:16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? 17 For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
Christ is the bread, not some food we partake in now! We are one with Him in reality not in symbolism as was Israel before the cross!
1Co 12:14 For the body is not one member, but many. ... 25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. ... 27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
You see every week or month or year many come together and partake of a food communion in a church, but they are NOT ONE with the Body of Christ. And many that are IN the Body still look at the symbolism instead of the oneness in Christ! They are still trying to get somewhere instead of knowing that they are already there! Which brings about DIS-EASE!!!!  
Now many marriages are the same way. They are still looking for the spouse to make them complete and feel good and feel loved instead of knowing that they are already loved by the one WHO IS LOVE and then giving that to their spouse! They are DIS-eased! Dis-ease brings schisms and problems because one or both in the marriage are trying to get something...they demand love and demand control. They demand, punish and act like their God by judging the other. They judge the other as being not worthy of their love. "WHO ever gave you the right to be God"?
Marriage is joints and marrow, head and body, fingers and toes, inside and outside working as one Body to bring GLORY to GOD! And NOT looking for someone to love you as you want but rather giving what you already have to another.

WORLDLY THINKING!
As I talk with those who claim to be believers I often see and hear the same sad "worldly thinking"!!! That thinking that says "I can sin and it is ok because I am under grace"! "IF I am saved then I can fornicate after all God has forgiven me", this type of thinking and attitude!
Paul says this in  Rom 6:1  What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? ... 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
Paul says NO!!! we don't continue in sin just because we are under grace, GRACE empowers us to say NO to sin! Grace says because God loves me I don't need to look for love, acceptance and approval from any one else. GRACE says I deserve death, but He has given me life, and I am so thankful that I don't want to sin.
Paul tells Timothy 1Ti 1:8  But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; 9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
Now we are not under law, but the law still does it's job and condemns! The law condemns and gives us the understanding of sin. Other than just selfish behavior in many areas, the number one thing I see so often performed and accepted is fornication. Sexual relationships outside of marriage between a man and a women. So many don't know the boundaries when it comes to the law, and the law is clear don't touch!  Here Paul says in Galatians that sexual immoralality is first in line....
Gal 5:19  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
I would like to say that this is a millennial thing. That they are young and inexperienced and seeking love yet don't understand the bible and God's righteousness, but sadly I see older, even elderly folks living together outside of marriage!
There are 2 sides to marriage. One is Spiritual and the other is judicial. The Spiritual is under God and the second is under the God who has set up the judicial on earth. The Spiritual keeps the Judicial on track and the judicial shows the wrong and condemns when temptation goes a wry! The marriage under the judicial shows the commitment under the Spiritual! You see the Law is useful even in marriage!
So understand the law, sin and the consequences which is death, and don't live under the law but you are under grace and GRACE IS FREEDOM!!!!
1Co 9:21  To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

Who's King?
At times people are very sweet and nice and we think they like us. They say all the right things and we feel comfortable around them. They seem like "good ol' boys" and people we would feel at home with, but we sometimes miss the bigger picture. I think even Stalin, Hitler and Manson would shake your hand and had been nice when you first met them, but all 3 are were murders!!!!
In the gospel of John to the nation of Israel we see that they wanted to make Jesus King by force! Now wait a minute wasn't Jesus sent to be their King? Was He not to set up the Kingdom and be the Messiah King over the world? WHY did He not do it, if that was the goal to begin with?
John 6:15   When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.
WHO'S KING?
Who's King was He going to be, Israel's or GOD'S! Who's King was going to rule, the puppet king of Israel's corrupt nation or God's righteous chosen one.
You see they wanted to make Him King for their self centered rule and use Him. He knew their hearts and what they wanted. He was NOT a men pleaser but a God pleaser!!! He was not going to rule over a Kingdom that did not believe or see Him as the true King and God's righteous one! He was not going to allow them to misuse their religion to manipulate God's faithful people. He was a KING and will be a KING over this world and Israel but it must be done God's way!
Be sure and discern others motives as well as your own. What do they want from you? and what do you want from them?
Do it God's way for God's reasons and lets give God the Glory!!!

"...do ye not hear the law"?
Gal 4:21 "Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law"?
I am always sad and shocked when I hear people especially Christians say that we are to "follow" the law! Here are a few examples of the law
Deu 13:6  If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; ... 9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
Deu 22:20  But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel: 21 Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.
These are just a few examples of how hard and strict the law can be. Death by stoning was the norm for these offenses. The shame that would be apart of these procedures were not easy either especially for the women.

Deu 22:5  The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
We live in a age were our laws have actually made it legal and encourages this type of behavior. Presidents have actually said that homosexuals, transvestites and others may now be apart of our armed forces serving together.
When the so called "equality" of ALL sexes and things are the goals of man we see the decline of Godliness! We see the lowering of God's righteous standards to mans filth and moral decay!
While the law is harsh and we do not follow the law for our salvation we do "hear" the law to condemn unrighteous behavior and sin!!!

Most believers can relate to Peter because they know that he was with Jesus in His earthly ministry.,But did you know that Paul too was with and had seen Jesus. Paul too was discipled by Jesus and was told by Christ to do specific and different things than Peter. Different then John the Baptist and different from the 12 Apostles in fact.
1Co 15:5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. 7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. 8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
Jesus gave Paul His mission and His instructions. Jesus gave Paul the revelations and therefore the doctrine for the church today. Jesus told Paul what to write and speak and preach. Jesus told Paul and gave Paul the wisdom, power and knowledge. Jesus discipled Paul just as He had with Peter and the 12 apostles. Jesus instructed Peter to go to the circumcision and Paul to the UN-circumcision. Paul's ministry was under grace and contained the mystery, while Peter's was under the law and under the prophecy program. BOTH important and BOTH given particular instructions for their ministry. BOTH had a specific group and church to minister too, but they were different. Confusion comes when we try to put both in the same group and church. AND yes, before you get all mad at me they were and are a different church, assembly and yes they were both saved through Jesus and yes they were both saved by faith as ALL saints are, Old , New and in the Body of Christ but they all receive that salvation through Christ by different ways and instructions.
Now many would then say it does not matter as long as their both saved and there is truth in that, YET if YOU try to be saved by Peter's ministry you would have missed the boat so to speak for it is no longer sailing!!!!
Different ministry, time and to different people will make a difference for you and isn't that important to YOU! Isn't that important for others in your family and church. Isn't that important as you share the Gospel of GRACE and not LAW!!!! While one saves today the other does not!

FOLLOW AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS!
Every 4 years we have a election and elect a President. Every 4 years the president changes or we get the same one for another 4 years yet after 8 he's done. So my point is that regardless of the man's beliefs we will have a different one at some point and that man or women may not lead in a godly way.
BUT regardless of who is president and regardless of what they believe or do we are to "follow after righteousness"!!
1Ti 6:11  But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
2Ti 2:22   Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
We are those who are called to follow after the Lord with a pure heart. We are to follow after righteousness, godliness, faith and Love! We are to be patient, meek and peaceful! We are to take a stand without harming others physically. We are to  FLEE youthful lust, which is not just sexual but any type of physical altercations! We are to live life to the fullest in Christ regardless who is President. We are to live life as Christ lived and How He lives within us now!
2Ti 3:16   All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
We are to correct, rebuke and teach right grace doctrine! We are to instruct others to live in righteousness but we can not physically make them. We are to be soldiers without guns. We are to fight the "good" fight of faith and change hearts by the gospel of Jesus Christ but we do that by the Word of Grace not by force!
The only way to discipline folks today who do not listen nor follow Christ is to separate from them but we do not harm them physically regardless!
Follow Righteousness regardless of  the president and you will have a true faithful heart and peace of mind!

Changes!
It is always hard to adjust to change. It seems at least for me that I like things a certain way the older I get. I like order and I feel more comfortable when things go my way. When things are just how I like them.
BUT that is not life is it! Life is always changing and new good things come and sometimes bad news and things come that we don't like. It is easy to be comfortable and content when things go my way, but so uncomfortable when things don't go my way. There can be big news like new presidents as well as things that throw me into convulsions, like  when my T.V. won't record the big game!!! HA! And for some of us there will be sickness and cancers and even death.  
This is why we must walk by faith in everything, because things change.
Hebrews11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  
FAITH IS NOW!!!
Faith must be applied in every thing we do and must be applied at that moment as well as daily regardless of change, so that we are prepared mentally and emotionally.
How do we apply faith?
By renewing our minds!
Rom 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Eph 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
What do we renew our minds with...? The truth of God!
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
1Co 13:6   Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Eph 5:9  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
1Ti 2:4   Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Phl 4:8  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Now we first must be confident and trust that God's word is the truth and that we trust in it above everything else! We then tell our selves over and over until Christ is formed in us!
Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
And that means that we put off rejection from man and failure in performance and begin to walk in the security and confidence of the victory we already posses!
Tell yourself over and over that you are "a child of God who deeply loved, totally accepted and completely forgiven in Christ!!!
Don't run from change but embrace the GOD that NEVER CHANGES!!!

Seeking Attention!
Let me be blunt seeking attention is sin. It is self centered and not God centered. It is playing God and saying look at me in some form.  It is all about "ME" and always about myself. I believe that seeking attention is something we all do but it is something that has become so norm that we actually approve and accept in the church today. Sadly when we think of someone who is seeking attention we think of those who yell or act silly like a child seeking the attention of a parent or throwing a fit. While that is true it is not the only way people seek attention. Here is a way Peter explains a way women can seek attention.
1Pe 3:1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; 2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. 3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
By trying to draw attention by being pretty and I would go to the extent of flirting or showing off their bodies.... Now don't get me wrong I am not saying a women can't look nice or were make-up but what I am saying is that it should not be with the intent of or a over usage to get attention.
Here is another way that has become popular again as it was in the 70's and that is long hair and beards.  
1Cor 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
BUT again Why? Why do men sometimes grow long hair and beards!  The attitude is really saying "No one is going to tell me what to look like and wear"! It is a rebellious attitude. It is saying "I am God and I do whatever I please, can you see that"! "Do you see that I don't care what you think"!!!! "I,I,I is the middle of that thinking!!!
I know that the "Duck Dynasty" guys do it, which does not make it right and it has the same self centered attitude! They are know different then any other man and they are just seeking attention and acting Independent of God and others. (By the way I know of few wives that like it, but even if they do like it that does not make it Ok!)
Now this last one is a very popular way of seeking attention even in the church today and especially among youth leaders/pastors or worship leaders! It is this thinking of saying "look at how spiritual I am by my Tattoo"!!!! Lets read what scriptures say about that too.
Lev 19:28  Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
(By the way I know some saints had tattoos before trusting in the Lord and I am not talking about them, yet seeking attention is what you were doing before you came to the Lord. But I am addressing those who continue to get them and even boast in getting them after coming to the Lord.)
Now some may say that we are no longer under the Law and we are under grace and that means we can do whatever we want!!! REALLY!!! So it is OK to go STEAL, LIE OR MURDER????? Of course Not!! Lets read what Paul tells Timothy...
1Ti 1:8  But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; 9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; 11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
You see the law tells us "WE NEED CHRIST"! It condemns us so that we will know what sin is and therefore come to Christ! Notice it says that the Law is for the Lawless and ungodly and disobedient men!!! NOW while we are NOT saved by the works of the law and we are saved by God's Grace being extended to us without works we are still shown by law in the sense of sin, yet not condemned to death or hell!!! Actually the the Law of Love is the only Law per say and it does NOT SEEK IT'S OWN! It does not seek attention! In other words while we don't follow the law it still shows us sin in different ways!
Seeking attention is Sin and these examples are just a few outward ways of seeing it but all of us lust for love and seek attention in many different ways! Be awake and aware of your sin and how you seek attention and then put-off and put on by renewing your mind by Faith in Christ. God has already accepted you so you don't need to seek attention in fact you can GIVE attention to others!

God's Love produces the fruit of Love!
The bible tells us that God is Love!
1Jo 4:8 .... for God is love.
And that Love is the end of the commandment! We have no other Law but to love!
1Ti 1:5  Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
Eph 3:17  That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
Now we are to be rooted and grounded in this love! Just like a tree which roots need watering and the deeper it grows the more grounded and secure it becomes. It does not blow over with every rejection or insecurity that comes. It does not bend to false doctrine nor does it falter when tested. The roots grow deeper and wider under the ground were you do not see the roots yet ever more secure then ever.  As that understanding of God's love grows deeper we begin to show that fruit by the spirit. That fruit of the spirit is only found in righteousness, truth and goodness which is godliness!!!
Eph 5:9  For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;
By the Spirit comes the fruit of love!
Gal 5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Now notice that the fruit is singular. It means that the fruit is LOVE that is expressed and manifested by Joy, peace Longsuffering.....
Some may argue that fruit is plural, and if that is your thinking then I won't argue with you... yet I have never read a commentary or heard a theologian say other wise,....as we see in scripture that the plural for fruit is used quite often, to name a few....
2Co 9:10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
Phl 1:11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
2Ti 2:6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
Rev 22:2   In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
I have heard some say I am going over and get some fruit in the store... but the place that your going too is a singular department area that houses fruitS.  
Col 3:14  And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Now charity is love but it is the Agape love which means God's Holy, righteous and perfect Love! Not Phileo which is human brotherly love. Oh no this Love is perfect and encompass ALL the characteristics of God! It binds all things together which is His Holiness, Righteousness and Godliness! This Love is found only in and through Jesus Christ!
So Grow deep, stable roots in His Love and you will be a secure and strong saint of God! Able to discern good from evil and give Apape love to others! Giving them what is needed for them most to come to Christ and giving Glory to God!

End of Year!
For all of you that celebrated Christmas in some way I hope you enjoyed what ever that looked like for you. I hope you get some rest from work and get to spend some time with family, friends and above all Christ!
I know this year has been a challenge for all of us and for some a even greater trial  than others. Yet if we give up our rights and our control we find that we can rest in the Lord as we "do" nothing to gain comfort apart from Him. This is so hard at times but it is exactly what hard times are for and that is to bring us to Christ, and to give Him the Glory always and in ALL things!
Don't try to hang on to anything in this life and that means anything, even family, friends or financial things, for they will all go away and we are left standing before God with only our hearts open and transparent!
1Co 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
Only our true motivation and hearts will be the issue and many will be surprised at the outcome. Don't be one of those who do not look at themselves honestly nor appraise themselves with a true appraisal but live in a religious bubble of falsehoods!
Live each day as if you will meet the Lord physically and YET remember that you are with HIm Now Spiritually!!!
PRAISE HIM TODAY and be COMFORTED WITH JESUS ALONE and in ALL things!!!

End of Year!
Another year goes by us and we all have had a different year haven't we, and while it may seem harsh we will survive. But I hope that you won't just survive but you will thrive even during these hard times. I hope that you don't just cope but truely grow in being totally content in Christ alone and not in any circumstance, good or bad!
Keep looking at the Hope of Glory in You!!!
Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Christ is that HOPE! Christ is God's Glory in Human form! Put your heart and mind on the HOPE IN YOU, not in the things you can see, control or not control! FIX your eyes on things above and not on this earth!
Col 3:2  Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
It is not the giving or receiveing of presents or the visting of family or friends that matter but it is the time we can say Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was concieved by our GREAT GRACIOUS AND LOVING GOD!!!!

Processing!
We all have felt hurt by someone at some point. We all sin and struggle with things in some way. Our mind struggles to make sense or to justify our actions or even to forgive another. We hurt mentally and emotionally and struggle with hurt, anger or guilt.
Sometimes I think that we believers think we should never feel guilt or rejection or any other emotions but we do. It is normal to feel this way at first and the goal is not to "not" feel that way but to walk through the process when it does happened. The process is very important to learn and to understand so that each time we feel out of sorts with someone or something we know what to do and know WHO to run to!
The bible teaches the process...
Rom 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
AND PUT-OFF and PUT-ON...
Eph 4:22  That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Col 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. ... 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
The renewing process takes time in each situation and is different for each person. Don't fall under more guilt for having the feelings to begin with and don't think that it needs to be resolved in your mind in a certain time. Yet let me say that it does take persistence and work to come to Christ and renew your thinking and for emotions to calm down and rest. I always like to use the analogy of a pot of water boiling on the stove.... and when you turn the heat off it will still be boiling and hot for awhile. That is what it is like with our thoughts and emotions. We may turn off the wrong thinking and begin to renew our minds with God's love but our emotions may still be boiling and hot and working for a while. Give it some time but keep renewing, putting on God's love and you will begin to have peace and rest in your emotions. This may take hours or days and at times depending on the issue it may even take months but it will come.
Be sure and start the process because it will not start on it's own. We each have a responsibility to begin the process each time and we all have to go through it the same way! Be honest with your thoughts and emotions and tell your self the truth always and begin the process of maturing daily in Christ!
(ps: Just to add,... don't ask God to take the problem away and think that is all that is needed,...but rather recieve what He has already given you and rest in what you do have, and that is His love! You don't need the other person to seek your forgivness or for the problem to go away to have peace, your peace is in Jesus Christ alone!!!)
Phl 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: [and] again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

What to do?
Sometimes in life we think that it is so bad that there is no fix for the present day things going on before us. We get depressed and sad at times. We have this covid thing going on and the suffering and dying of it and to add we also had a election and the losing of jobs and businesses and all kinds of other things. I have heard parents say their kids lives are ruined and that they are depressed and feel lost without activities and school. People get upset when a loved one goes to the hospital and they can't be with them. Some are having babies and some are sick and some are dying. Some die without any one there to be with them nor to say good by to them and all of this is hard for us to deal with, but it does tell us some things about ourselves.
It tells us what we really are thinking and putting our thoughts on doesn't it.  As it says in 1Cor 14:25  And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.  
The secrets of the heart can be seen in us who fear and are looking at this life. When we are sad, depressed or anxious for life and things we have put our hearts in the wrong place and we need to adjust our thinking. Nothing is of more value  in this earthly realm compared to Christ and the heavenly realm! We deserve nothing good given to us yet God has provided life though His Son Jesus! We say we deserve death yet when it really come down to it we cry out "this is so unfair".
Let us put our faith were our mouth is so to speak. Lets walk by faith knowing that we have a far greater place then this. Let us be Spirit driven instead sight driven! Let us remember that this year has been bad in the natural but I think it has driven many a people to the Lord! Let yet drive you back into the Fathers arms and feel comforted with His love and His voice!
