LAWLESSNESS AND INJUSTICE TODAY!
A blog is a personal opinion and advice type of note. It is to reflect the persons views and thoughts.
So today I want to share a little of that instead of a devotional.

Todays times are hard, but nothing compared to what many have went through. And certainly not what the future brings during the tribulation period.

It is easy in my opinion to jump on the band wagon of protest against authority and say that their is a systemic injustice going on today. It is easy to say that "black lives matters" (and they do along with every other person also) and to join this way of thinking because it seems right and it seems like a way to speak out for injustice and equality.

BUT let me put my 2 cents in here and just say that I WILL NOT JOIN IN! We need to have a true character and take a stand against this unrighteous behavior. We need to not buy into this form of evil which is being fed by Satan and his agents. We need to make a STAND for GODLINESS and RIGHTEOUNESS and AUTHORTY!!!!

While I have not seen all the videos in completeness and neither have most of you or any one else, but what I have seen is mostly people who do not want to cooperate with police and authority and in turn die during the struggle. What I have seen is a complete farce when it comes to justice and the policemen are the ones who are now getting injustice.

Is it injustice when the police arrest someone for not obeying the law and then they fight, scream and spit on them. Is it injustice when the police are shot at day after day and when they fight back they are now the criminal! Is it injustice to contain someone on drugs and then they die because their heart is ready to explode from drugs and fighting! Is it injustice to follow the law and then have the law breakers yell racial slurs at them! Is it injustice when they break into buildings and stores and kill others! COME ON MAN!!!!

Don't just buy into everything you see on T.V and see the incredible deceit that Satan is feeding to these people in the name of JUSTICE AND EQUALITY!!!!!

The breaking down of society comes through ungodliness and we are seeing that daily! If authority is taken out, then you will see even more lawlessness and injustice come!

Dark, Down and Depressed!
At times during these seemingly turbulent times we may feel like giving up. We may all feel like we are either in a dark or down and depressed state sometimes. At times we all may think or feel like it isn't worth it and want to give up if we are honest with ourselves. Some more than others and many think and feel this way all the time.

Paul felt this way at times too. Here in 2 Tim 4:14  Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works: 15 Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words. 16 At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. 17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. 18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

He was a prisoner, beaten and left alone. No one to really physically comfort him. No one to verbally talk to or hear him out. But Paul's response teaches us what to think and do.

When you feel alone and down, do as Paul did and cry out to God. Talk with Him and share your thoughts and feelings. BUT also allow God's grace to minister to you. Always remember what sacrifice Christ made for you. Remember to receive and allow God's Love to comfort your heart and mind. Receive, Renew and Rest, spiritually, mentally and emotionally.

2 Timothy is Paul's last book and he knew that he was going to be killed for his beliefs. He knew he was at the end of this earthly life. Fear would have been the emotion that most men would have. But Paul allowed the Spirit to give him rest and peace. Nothing can be greater or scarier than that. Knowing that you are going to be executed and that you are innocent. He was willing to die for his faith and stand.

Paul did not run from the facts but he did put his hope, faith and heart on the most important thing which he could not see. He put his hope and faith in our heavenly, spiritual, blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

AND even through it all he still gave! He still preached! Because he knew the answers and outcome he could still love others! He was a saved, secure and spiritual man and alive in Christ.
Make this your mindset today and LIVE!

When troubles are BIG and God is seems small!
Sometimes it seems that our troubles are so big! It seems that the world is going to hell in a hand basket as the old saying goes and guess what, it is!!! The worlds destiny is hell! The worlds views are not God's views nor do they care to be. The worlds views are sinful, selfish and self centered. "I want more and more and more...."!!!

We, the saints in Christ are to be Christ centered and give. We want to give the message of hope of eternal life. We want to give love but only righteous love that is through Christ. We want to give, give, give!!!

BUT first we must receive from God that very life, love and liberty that only comes through Christ! We need to walk by the Spirit by faith.
Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. ... 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Gal 5:25  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Since we LIVE IN the Spirit, We should walk by the Spirit. That means to receive from God mentally what is already true Spiritually. To renew and rest in what is already true in your spirit. That means to LIVE IN what is already LIVING IN your Spirit. Now that Spirit works through you as the Word works in your mind. This is why we need to know what the Word of God says and discern and meditate on it! The Spirit works with the word and not against it. The Spirit works indirectly through the Word.

We are filled with the Holy Spirit when we get saved and the Spirit puts us in Christ so then we are filled with the spirit, Eph 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. 18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Being filled is the same as being saved and therefore we LIVE IN the Spirit and the Spirit in us. so if we LIVE IN, FILLED UP and WALK BY THE SPIRIT then we will see the fruit of that!  To walk by the Spirit means to be controlled and dominated by it. Anything that takes are minds off the Spirit and His Word pollutes are minds and they are not sharp for us to give our best. This why we should not drink as it weakens our minds and we no longer can function Spiritually but rather begin to function by the flesh. Now it is not a sin to drink but it a sin to walk by the flesh and not be sober to give to others. This is why Paul says here to not be drunk and walk by something that pollutes your mind but rather be saved, sober and serve!

....19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

To speak, sing and make melody in your hearts means to have JOY and PEACE! It means to be content in Christ and to praise God!  So JOY is something you have when you walk by the Spirit.

20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

THANKFUL and grateful is what you have when you are walking by the Spirit! Grateful for having Life and being loved. Thankful for being forgiven of ALL your sins! A thankful heart is a humble heart!

21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
AND finally walking by the Spirit brings a voluntary, willingness to submit to others. To be willing to give up your rights for the betterment of another. We should be willing to be wiling to put ourselves "under" another. Notice I said "willing" to do this. If you feel forced to do it then it is not submission but rather a law and your flesh will rebell. This is why it must be by the persons will and their choosing not by force.

So WALK by the SPIRIT and be JOYFUL, THANKFUL AND SUBMITTING to one another and not be conformed to this present evil world!

Blame Game!
Since this is "MY" Blog and I share "MY" thoughts and "MY" opinion's,  I also hope to share some understanding of scripture that can be used to see what is going on in the world today!

The last 2 weeks have been filled with protest and violence. Many are saying that they are protesting and fighting for justice and equality but I say to you that their is much more going on then that.

We see the BLAME GAME going on. These people are full of UN-godliness and rebellion. They feel rejected by many and to add to this self centered sin filled lifestyle we see the corona virus adding to their already darkened minds. They BLAME every one else for their suffering and take NO responsibility for their own sin!

As scripture says they "are acting as if they are god's"! Gen 3:5   For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. (Satan speaking here)
They demand change for their own self centered, hard heart. They are looking and serving their own self filled sinful belly to fill,... and their own sin filled flesh to be comforted. They are lost, dead and self centered!  They call "good bad" and "bad good"!!!
READ this Lev 27:10  He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: ....

NOW READ THIS
Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. 8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

KEEP IN MIND!
Let us not forget the police were called to arrest a man who was breaking the law by passing counterfeit money. It does not matter at that point if he was guilty or not or if he did it on purpose or not, it was counterfeit. He then resisted arrest when he was put in the car and began to go against the authority. It has been said that he may have been on some drugs and therefore he was not of his right mind. Lets not forget that the man did not comply with the authority and was restrained in the way that the police are taught to restrain someone who does not listen and fights back. Out of the 4 police men 2 were of minority also , as well as  every person put in that circumstance says they can't breath!

So were does the true blame and responsibility fall on. Blaming others will NEVER fix the problem IF there really is a problem for many problems can be fixed by simply NOT breaking thee law to begin with!
My point is to say that what is going on is NOT about justice or Godliness but it is a anti-authority, anti-righteous and
anti-Godliness! It is about rebellion to authority and self centered as well as Satan and Sin motivated!

ALL SIN REJECTS and BRINGS DEATH!
Let us STOP BLAMING OTHERS AND TAKE RESPONSIBILTY FOR OUR OWN SIN!

Vengeance!
This week a young man died while being in police custody in Minnesota! Notice I said a young man, not a young black man which he was. I say that to say that true equality in the best way is not describing the victim as black or white but rather as a man! And that is what he was a MAN! A man who deserves justice regardless of color.

Now the man was handcuffed and being taken into custody for forgery and while it does not seem to show that he was  resisting arrest by the phone footage we do not know the whole situation as of yet.

BUT regardless of that it would seem as by the pictures shown that he was detained by a foot on the back of his neck for way to long regardless.

I say all that to just give a picture for those who may not have seen the news on T.V. With that said I am not going to go into any more details as I don't know all the details and I will leave that up to the authorities and courts to decide.

BUT let me say this, the one thing I know for sure is that when we do vengeance then that is sin and wrong! There has been protest after protest in different cities around the U.S. and violence has taken place and even others hurt and killed. The Word of God is clear on this,
Rom 12:19  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

While the actions of a few maybe wrong it certainly does not give permission to go and hurt others. ALL that does is create and back up what the authorities are afraid of to begin with. That when they go out to do their job and inforce the law and to protect that they MAY have to use force!

Vengeance is God's domain and we are to forgive, and stand in righteousness!  As I have told you over and over SIN begets Rejection and more Rejection begets SIN! Trying to be God, Play God and be Independent of God is SIN, and in this case many are hurt and defiled. Bitterness is never the answer, but rather extend forgiveness and then work in a PEACEFUL PROTEST to change the law and HEARTS OF MAN!!

Martyrs!
2 Tim 4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Martyrs are those who give their life for a cause! I don't think we need to be as those who died but rather those who dedicate our lives to a cause. I have read some of the stories from the book the "voice of the Martyrs" over the years. It is about those who sacrificed their lives for Christ behind the communist curtain after the war! Now many were sent to prison for their faith and many killed because of sharing the gospel of Christ to others. So many families broken up just over their faith alone, it shows us what a great faith and testimony so many have had in horrible circumstances.

As I began to think about the mystery that Paul writes about I think about how that message has been tainted with works and performance oriented teaching from pastors who do not understand the grace message. It is lost in ordinances and works and the striving to reach more. It is  corrupted with "doing" instead of "being" in Christ. They are even more anxious, fearful and depressed than ever before. They fall back into traditions, customs and law verses the "simple" message of faith by grace in Christ. They need to have more music and lights and put on a big show as if it is some Broadway production! They want more people, more money, more power to say look what we have built... that they have lost the very thing that is important, CHRIST!

MYSTERY MARTYRS!
So we must be Mystery Martyrs! We need to be martyrs for the gospel of grace! We must stand and give our lives for this grace message, this Mystery Gospel that Paul shared with us. This grace and love that God has given us without works, performance or self righteousness!  So don't stop believing, sharing or don't be afraid that your church, pastor and friends will look at you weird if you teach the total forgiveness by faith and grace message. OR If you tell them that the ordinances and laws are not for us today and that they are free in Christ to live life through Him.

Keep the faith as Paul did and BE A MYSTERY MARTYR TODAY!

Ordinances!
So many church's believe and still do certain ordinances. Most orthodox church's will do 7 or so and in protestant church's they will do at least 2 ordinances, water baptism and communion. Some of the most ridiculous things that go on in church's especially in the orthodox church's is the idea of transubstantiation, were the bread actually turns into Christ Body and the wine really is Christ blood!
Mat 26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

Now first of all this is not true, just ask every drunk priest! But it is not true because the words "this is" is used as a "representation of ", meaning it used as a example of what Jesus is saying. BUT even more so and as I always tell you lets show it scripturally!
Gen 9:4  But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.

Lev 17:10  And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

Act 15:20  But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
... 29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

Now the drinking of blood would be in direct violation of the Law before Christ crucifixion and the instructions given to the Body of Christ after Christ rose and had gone to heaven. Would Jesus sin, "I THINK NOT"!! So this proves that Jesus did not mean literally that the bread and wine turned into His flesh or blood.

But for us today what is even more important is that ALL ordinances have been done away with, lets read  Eph 2:15  Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
AND
Col 2:14  Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
... 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

You see we have the living Lord Jesus Christ in Us! We can not get any closer to Him than being "IN HIM"...nor do we need to remind ourselves with ceremonial observance of some ordinance but we only need to truly worship, praise and receive by faith His great sacrifice for our sins and His life that dwells with us! Our communion is a literal, Spiritual Union in Him and with each other!
Don't get caught up in useless ordinances of denominations and church's for they are only a shadow of Christ, You have the real, living and glorified Christ within you!

Confidence!
When we are little we want to be able to run and jump into our Daddy's lap. We want to be held and loved and know everything is secure and Ok. Believe it or not this is were children gain confidence and security for life.

Many of us did not have a dad that did that and unfortunately this begins a lifetime of insecurities. I know my dad was not good at this and I was not either.

Being able to know without a doubt that it is ok to come to a eternal, powerful Father  is what grace is all about. We can have that confidence because of Christ. God sees us in Christ and loves us the same as He does His own Son.

Col 1:13  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
1Co 1:30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

1. God put us in Christ and then because Jesus is wisdom, righteous and sanctified we too are seen that way by God!
2. God accepts us because we are in His beloved Son.
Eph 1:6  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

THEN....!
Eph 3:12  In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

We then can have confidence through Christ that our "Abba", "Daddy", Father loves us and we can run to Him. We can have boldness that no matter what we say or have done He still loves and accepts us. We can share our hearts and our fears and yes even our sins. The GREAT things about our sins is that 1. He already knows them and 2. Has ALREADY forgiven them and 3. Only sees Christ His Son.

So run in confidence to your Father when you sin and not hide for He wants to spend time with His children.
He wants to hold, hug and help you! YOU ARE SECURE IN HIM!!

Paul's Prison Epistles!
If you truly want to grow spiritually and have that victorious Christian Life than study Paul's Prison Epistles! These epistles are what is the doctrine and norm for today's church. Meaning the bible is laid out for us in a certain way and after Romans- Galatians then the complete canon of the bible is finished. If you study Acts and the lay out of these books and how they go together you will find that to be so and then how God has put these books in the order for us today!

After Paul writes Romans, 1-2 Cor. and then Galatians he has established the Doctrinal Dispensational differences from Israel Law and their works program. The dispensational changes are that we are saved, justified and reconciled to God by grace through Faith! Now after that he then goes on to say in 1 Co 13:8  Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Now we see that tongues and signs were needed in that early church ministry to qualify and bring clarity too it,... but are not needed nor in practice today. The prison epistles gives us those changes and  what are the doctrinal issues for today! No longer are the gifts of signs and wonders, miracles and healings.... but rather the doctrinal issue of faith alone and by the ministry and works of the Body working together to minister to one another.

WE ARE  Ambassador's and Prisoner's for Christ!
Eph 6:20  For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
Eph 3:1  For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
Eph 4:1   I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

So these prison epistles are so important to your growth and edification.
Ephesians  -Christ and The Body of Christ
Philippians -Christ and The Mind of Christ
Colossians -Christ and The Head of the Body
These books give us the doctrine for the body, mind and head of this church called the Body of Christ for today!

AND SO this is the doctrine and what is important for today!
Eph 4:3  Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

NOTICE THE GIFTS FOR TODAY! AND FOR WHAT AND WHO?
... 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

THE PERFECTING and MATURING OF THE BODY!

Don't get caught up in knowing what your spiritual gifts are, but rather get caught up in knowing who Christ is in you and who you are in Him!
Knowing your WORTH, WALK AND WORK IN CHRIST!

Are you a reprobate?
Are you in "THE FAITH"?

Paul says to "examine yourselves" and ask the question "are you in the faith"? SO ARE YOU, "In the faith" and a emphasis is on "IN" and it means are you saved! In other words does your lifestyle prove you out or are you a reprobate? A reprobate means someone who has failed the test! Someone who's life and heart does not match Christ in them! Read what Paul says here.
2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. 7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

Grace "Religion" says I can do what ever I want and I am still saved. But you see while there is "some" truth to that, it is not complete truth,.... it does not mean to sin because you "have" grace but rather "IF" you sin there is grace! The mind and heart still tell us "to whom" we are serving! Either we serve OURSELVES or GOD! Is it unto CHRIST or MYSELF!

Paul is saying "are you a reprobate"? This means "One who does not pass the test of one being in Christ" or are you "just a religious" person! I see so called believers who do drugs, drink in excess and go to bars and live in fornication! I hear and see their foul mouths and perverted thinking as well as being broke because they gamble at the casinos or on anything else they can gamble on! They live and approve of a homosexual lifestyle YET they say they are "in the faith"!
Gal 6:7  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

...10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction. 11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Paul goes on to tell the Corinthian's that he tells them these things to EDIFY them! To build them up "IN THE FAITH"! To encourage them for their own well being. He says this as I also say "not for their destruction" but for their good!
He tells them to "BE PERFECT", "BE OF GOOD COMFORT" and to "BE OF ONE MIND"!!!

HIS MIND, HIS COMFORT, HIS LIFE IS PERFECT!!!!! AND the only way to do this is to be satisfied, complete and content in GOD'S LOVE AND PEACE!

Don't be a reprobate, test and ask yourself "am I in "the faith" and if so then then live a life that is "IN CHRIST"  and that is  approved by God!

God's way and One another!
When we talk about God's design we often talk about God's Grace and it sounds positive toward us and it is. YET, in order to receive that grace and eternal life we must first see that we are sinners, and that sounds negative. I believe the reason most people do not come to Christ is because they don't want to admit and because they are prideful they think they are "good" people!

So yes, God allows things to happened that seem negative to the human race. He allows suffering, sickness and death so that we may come to Him! That we would reach out to Him and cry out "I NEED YOU LORD"! While the majority of people won't do this and will look for other things to comfort them, it will not "SAVE" them!

 .
During this time of coronavirus and staying at home requirements it is a great time to again see the negative as a positive. To see how sickness can create fear in man and in turn drive Him to Christ! While God does not want us to live in fear, it is fear that drives man toward Him. He wants us to come, live and depend on Him! His desire that ALL men may be saved.

1Ti 2:4  Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

In this same process we turn toward each other and hopefully spend more time with one another. We begin to make the family first instead of our work or pleasures. We begin to see what is truly important instead of shallow and unimportant. This is God's way of showing us Himself and love for one another. While church and being in fellowship is important it is not God! Christ is in you and you are a part of a "LIVING BODY" the "BODY OF CHRIST"! Not a building or religion or even a shallow service with one another but a internal, eternal living Lord!

Turn your thinking in faith in Christ and toward God and spend time with Him and one another!

Act 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Resurrection day should be a daily thinking for the believer!
I tend not to make big deals out of holidays, or certain days. I tend to think that everyday is a "resurrection day" and I hope you do too. You see while Christ died and rose again on certain day and that day has significance that is for sure we must not lose the understanding what he died for. He died for ALL man kind, not just a few or the elect as Calvinist say!

1Ti 2:4  Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
Rom 5:6  For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Who are ungodly sinners? ALL of us! WHO did Jesus die for, ALL men!  BUT it is not that He died "just" for ALL men OH NO! He died for SIN!
Rom 8:3  For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

You see the tendency of man is to think that Jesus died for us "only" per say but He died for "SIN"! Rather I should say He died as sin to take sin...
2Co 5:21  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

So it is for SIN and WHO has SIN, ALL of us! We are NOT called sinners because we sin, we sin because we are sinners! Without Christ we are dead in our SIN singular, and we commit sins plural! Sin is independent of God! Trying to be God without God. Spiritually dead and without Spiritual life in us! God is Spirit and can only be worshiped by Spirit!
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

So you see resurrection day is not a "one time event" for the believer, but a LIFE in Christ and lived out through a daily spiritual lifestyle!

But we are not saved by Christ death but rather we are saved by HIS LIFE!!!!
Rom 5:10  For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

AND that life is eternal!
Rom 5:21  That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

AND by eternal that means daily not once a year but every day, day in and day out forever!

AND that comes by FAITH!
Gal 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe

So in conclusion Christ died for ALL sin, so that ALL men may have the opportunity to believe by Faith and have
ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRIST! Don't just celebrate once a year but give Him THANKS DAILY DEAR SAINT!

Beleive it or not, your choice!
We all have choices in life, regardless of our circumstances. In John 12 28 Jesus says Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. 29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

AND THEN 30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes. 31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. 32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Jesus says that He  will draw ALL MEN!!! TO Himself! In other words ALL men will have a choice! ALL men will be given a chance to come to Him! ALL men shall have the opportunity to trust in Him by Faith! ALL MEN!

YET in this same chapter we see what stops MOST MEN from NOT trusting in Jesus!

... 37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: 38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? 39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, 40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. 41 These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him. 42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: 43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

You see because they did not believe and confess Jesus as their Messiah, God turned them over to their hard heart! AND the reason they did NOT confess Him was because they "LOVED THE PRAISE OF MEN MORE THAN THE PRAISE OF GOD"!!!!

Men pleasing will kill you if you are not careful! Don't seek the acceptance and approval or the affirmation and attention of man, but walk and know that the only opinion that really matters is God's!

Christ desires all men to come to Him, 1Ti 2:3  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Remember these words from our apostle Paul, Gal 1:10  For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Serve Christ, as HE HAS SERVED YOU!

If you have not changed your WILL you are of the same mind STILL!
Often times I hear people say that they have repented and or they are reconciled with such and such. But they keep doing the same thing without any regard to God or others,... or they "still" hate that person or don't want to be around that person. They still do not see their heart and blame the other person. They still are self focused and not Godly focused.

You see they have not changed there will, therefore are of the same mind still! They have not truly repented or reconciled they are just going by their feelings. They are saying "for now" it is ok...instead of truly, sincerely and genuinely turning to God and walking by faith. It is just like Israel had done over and over and over and.......... You get the point. It is just religion and piousness! Nothing has changed inwardly, even if their feelings or the circumstances have.

This will result in the same hard heart, unfaithfulness toward God and distance in relations until the person either truly repents or relationships are destroyed! Always remember that what is going on in the inside will come out eventually.

1Co 14:25  And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest;

You can only hide the secrets of your heart for so long before they manifest, meaning show! I like the last part of that verse it says by being convicted of the sin and secrets of your heart you then will
....and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.

Having a change of mind takes a change of will, so check your heart and do not keep secrets from yourself, others or God any more!
And just so know God already knows them!!!

The Shepherd!
In the book of Psalms we see Jesus as 3 distinct shepherds! In Psalm 22 he is the "GOOD" Shepherd as He lays down His life!
John 10:11  I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

In Psalm 23 He the "GREAT" Shepherd!
Hebrews 13:20   Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

And in Psalm 24 He is that "CHIEF" Shepherd!
1 Peter 5:4   And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

He is Israel's Redeemer in the book of Psalms 1-44 and in Psalm 22 we see the CROSS of Christ is portrayed! Then in Psalm 23 we see the Great Shepherd over the CONGREGATION of Israel! And finally we see the Chief Shepherd as the COMING Messiah!
The Redeemer
The Deliverer
The King
All shown in the book of Psalms! What a Great Book and is going to be such a Great comfort to those Tribulation Saints!

We on the other hand have already been redeemed, delivered and live with our King in the Heavenly places!
Philippians 3:20  For our conversation (citizenship, place) is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: ... 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Don't forget that while you read and study the book of Psalms, that you already have received a far greater position, power and place in Christ now! "Rightly Divide" and claim what is yours today!

Have a great weekend in Christ!

Trib Saints!
Sometimes I am accused of not reading or believing in the whole bible when speaking on dispensational "rightly dividing" the bible. BUT that is completely not true and in fact I study the whole bible so that I understand it by not confusing God's will in all things.

When you understand the mystery that Paul writes about, you understand the prophecy that was spoken to Israel. One of those great things in prophecy is the book of Job and how it will minister to those Tribulation saints. In James which is written for those tribulation saints says in  James 5:11  Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

Those Jewish believers will know and understand the book and life of Job. James is saying to that Jew to read and remember what Job went through. Job is a type of Israel that was under the influence of Satan's demonic control and influence... YET, Job persevered and stayed faithful! While Job was rich and had great influence in his land, He lost it all but God eventually turns that captivity from Satan to God and He was blessed with twice as much.

Job 42:10  And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. 11 Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold. 12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

Just like Job, Israel will have the same in those "Ages to Come"!
Deu 30:3  That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

Psa 14:7  Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

Rev 22:1  And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: 4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. 5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Just Like Job and Israel, we too need to persevere and stay faithful!

FREEDOM!
It is so great to live in a country that allows us to be free. The liberties that we have are unbelievable! This is one reason why people from other countries come here. The freedom to work, speak and practice our faith without fear of a religious government shutting us down and putting us in prison.

Unfortunately nations can become just like Paul says in Rom 6:1  What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
AND ... 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
AND Gal 5:13  For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

We see this happening more and more in our great nation were the freedoms that have been given to us are being taken advantage of by sinful, immoral and Godless people.

Let us remember that Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death;...

As children of the living God through Christ we have a choice and no longer have to continue in sin.

Rom 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. 21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. 22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We are no longer in bondage to sin rather we have a choice now to walk by the Spirit and truth and reap life or to walk after the flesh and sin which brings death! Don't use the freedom that you have in Christ to go down a path of self destruction and death!

Choose LIFE Dear Saints, it is better for you!

Christ was a dispensationalist!
Christ is a dispensationalist and you should be too!!!

And just so you know if you believe that Christ died on the cross for your sins and rose to give you life than YOU already are a dispensationalist YET may not know it or understand it. AND to add perhaps what actually hurts you more is the fact that you try NOT to be!

By trying to do the Law and follow the ordnances given to Israel you are actually trying to not live according to God's will for today, and therefore not be dispensational.

Lets see how Jesus was dispensational, and "rightly divided" God's word of truth.

Luke 4:17  And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Jesus read in Luke 4:17 and it is what was written in Isaiah 61. Now Jesus read verse 1 and part of verse 2 but not all of it. He stopped because had He went on it says "...and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;"

You see that day of vengeance would be the last days and God's wrath would be implemented. What He was saying to Israel is that your Messiah is here. Your King is here and it is "the acceptable time"!!! "So Receive me" and I will set up and restore The KINGDOM OF ISRAEL! But they did not receive Him, rather they crucified Him!

Jesus was quoting Isaiah and telling them of God's will and time frame. So be like Jesus, by being aware, awake and know God's will for today! Study to show yourself approved by God by understanding the particular dispensations in the bible. Who is God talking to! What is being said and to whom and under what form of spiritual government is set at that time.

Remember that we live today in "THE DISPENSATION OF THE GRACE OF GOD"!

WHAT IS PREACHED!
DISPENSATIONAL PREACHING!

Knowing what is preached  and taught in scripture is very important. It tells us what dispensation we are under and to whom it is too.

In Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

Up until John the Baptist, the Law and Prophets was taught to Israel. But then the Kingdom is preached.

John spoke,
Mat 3:1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Then Jesus
Mat 4:17   From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

So at different times, different things were preached! Although many things are said under these names, the focus was either the Law and Prophets or the Kingdom message to Israel!

"BUT NOW" a new message is preached by Paul.
Act 20:24  But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

The Gospel of the GRACE OF GOD! And that message is in the dispensation of grace and is called The MYSTERY!
Eph 3:1  For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, 2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: 3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

AND TO MAKE ALL MEN SEE...
... 9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Rom 16:25   Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
Because it was hid from Satan, and the world and it was foretold before time began. It also gives us the complete understand of ALL the scriptures and closes the inspirational writings of the Word of God!

So understanding what God is wanting preached and proclaimed is being IN GOD'S WILL FOR THE DAY that it was to be proclaimed!

BE in God's WILL Dear Saint, by understanding the dispensing of the Revelation and Fellowship of the Mystery being Preached today, GOD'S GOSPEL OF GRACE!

Beloved Brethren, BE...!
Here are 3 things Paul encourages us to BE!
1 Cor 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Because we have Victory in Christ and we give thanks unto God, we can BE
1. STEDFAST - Meaning be faithful, committed, and loyal to Christ!
2. UNMOVABLE-Meaning unwavering, unshaken and firm in Christ!
3. ABOUNDING- Meaning to keep growing and going as well as full and thrive in Christ!
So think about these 3 things and BE loyal, firm and thriving in Christ today,
Beloved Brethren in Christ!

How to have a Great New Year in 2020!
2020 is almost here and I hope you had a great 2019. The best way to have a great New Year is to put everything in perspective. So many look at the earthly material things they want to accomplish. It might be a new years resolution to lose weight or make more money. Perhaps to build a new or existing business or church with more people and certainly those things can be goals, but really if you want to have a truly GREAT year try looking at what you already have. If you are a believer you have Christ, what more do you need!!! You have eternal security in Heaven! Your life is not here but in Christ in heaven Now! What can be better than that!!!! You have the Greatest LOVE of all, which no person can possibly give! So while setting goals is good don't get caught up in the external earthy things but look at what you have now internally and eternally and be grateful to have a GREAT GOD and LORD IN YOU!!!!!!!

Enjoy the rest of 2019 and look forward to 2020, and lets always give GOD THE GLORY!

THE GREAT CONCEPTION!

THE GREAT CONCEPTION!
At this time of year it is good to remember and let us never forget that the true miracle is the great conception of Christ! Christ was conceived by God through the Holy Spirit to a virgin!!! His birth was normal and natural but His conception is Holy! No man's sinful flesh was involved in this great conception! It was God who did this not man and Jesus is Holy, righteous and sinless because of this. Don't forget this and even more so,... don't forget why Jesus came to begin with and that is to be Israel's King and to save His people. In turn God used unfaithful Israel's fall to extend grace to the gentile world and save ALL mankind by faith in the cross work of Christ alone!!!
Luke 1:26  And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. 28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Remember NOT just the "reason for the season" but the REASON!
I often hear and in fact have said it myself "remember the reason for the season". Now the reason I said that was I was trying to get people to think about Christ more than the tree, gifts or even family. More than the food or seeing the kids open up their presents with such joy and fun on their faces.

BUT as I think more about it I am always trying to encourage people to remember the "REASON" Christ came to begin with. In a way it is not such a good thing, it is sort of a negative thing. He came as the King of Israel and was rejected. He then came as the risen Messiah and was rejected. He came and died on the cross for our sins and many will still reject Him! God extended grace to All but many will reject Him!
BUT to those of us who have trusted "in" have put faith "in" His death  for our sins, and received and have eternal life in Him,
OH YES!
YES, YES, YES!!! NOW WE HAVE THE "REASON FOR THE SEASON"!!!!
AND THAT IS NOT A NEGATIVE THING!

1Tim 2:3  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

GRACE TO YOU ALL!
I hope this blog finds you all doing well and resting in the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I want to share so many things with you but sometimes can not wrap my mind around the words to write. I have had a good year sharing and teaching the word of God but see such a need for more. I have seen some of you that I meet with grow so much and this is so exciting to me. I still get just as excited today as when I first started, when I see some one grow and that light bulb goes on when they understand that they are completely forgiven in Christ and realize the freedom of God's love and acceptance.

Some still struggle and need help and this takes time and work. This is just how life works and we all must face it. And just as we all must face this life we all have to deal with financial issues in order to eat and put a roof over our heads.

With that said let me share some things, so you can prayerfully consider.

The counseling ministry is different than other ministries in the way that it functions daily. It takes up a lot of time that other ministries do not take up. A pulpit ministry which is always important and needed but usually last only a hour. A counseling ministry is 1-2 hours per person or couples and last all day with several sessions. This is why most lead pastors do not do counseling as it takes up hours of study time and may last for months. The pulpit ministry is mostly study time and on the pastor's personal time per say, but the counseling ministry is face to face every time. The pulpit/teaching ministry reaches more people in a general way while the counseling ministry is one on one and very specific and personal. The pulpit ministry gets lots of attention and therefore a lot more financial support, while the counseling ministry gets little attention and much less financial support.

So what is the point I am getting at is this, that our financial support is down and we need your help. We have seen in the last few months especially many of our regular supporters not giving or giving much less! Please prayerfully consider a end of year donation and coming on as monthly support for next year.

Thank you and always in God's grace,

Why do bad things happend to good people?
Since this is my blog page and not a devotional I sometimes just give my thoughts, yet I hope they do the same thing as my devotionals and that is to encourage you to depend on and rest in Christ!

The question "why do bad things happened to good people" has been asked for centuries and everyone of us has pondered that at some point, in some way. The answer to that is simple yet most people do not believe or dismiss it and look for some sort of psychological deep answer!

The answer is sin. I know, I know, what you are saying "it seems that everything you say is sin, Howard"!! BUT think about it, when a drunk driver hits a innocent person isn't it sin to be drunk and driving to begin with! Or when a person dies of cancer, isn't cancer a natural sin from the fall of man, not to mention the sin of smoking, drinking or abusing the body! You see everything in life has a Spiritual context and place! Our day to day decisions are spiritual. The neighbor, family or societies actions are all part of a sinful world and therefore we in a fallen world! Yes the person who is depressed or anxious or takes advantage of another and hurts, beats or rejects them in some way has some problems but those problems are called sin! ALL mental disease is sin, this is why it is called dis-ease!!! Now it can lead to physical changes in the brain and body, and we can try to fix the physical part by human ways but it began as sin and still is sin that has not been dealt with.

IF we call sin, Sin, then we can deal with it in the proper way and that is through Christ, who has already dealt with it! IF we call sin some thing else then WE must fix it and WE will not be able to do so! IF we choose to medicate our selves as the so called professionals want then we are just putting a band aid on a very deep wound and you will bleed to death eventually! Lets fix the fix that has already been fixed by Christ! Bad things happened to ALL of us because of our choices, not God punishing us! By the way that is a form of Calvinism. Meaning the thinking that God did this to me and God did that to me! God is the one who loves you and sent the one who gives you life! Stop blaming God, like Adam did and start taking responsibility for your actions, thoughts and feelings and you will be on your way to that abundant life in CHRIST!

Holidays!
It seems that the holiday season is upon us and for some it gets even more hectic. For some it is a time of depression and for others it is a fun and a joyous time! Some love to have family over with lots of food and gifts exchanged. Others are sad, lonely and without food or shelter. Many have shelter, food and family yet feel down and sad too. Some have happy memories and others sad ones. Most remember their parents and what Christmas was like when they were young and for some reason it is always better then, than today!

BUT if we really take a look at things and wanted to be faithful to God we would see that it is "ALL" a façade. Think about it, if we say we want to be faithful to God and His Word yet we celebrate Christ birth 3 months after He was really born. We turn that time into a gift giving, Santa, tree and light show, that has nothing to do with God and what He has done for us. And even though many of us say we want to celebrate Christ the part we enjoy most is still getting to open presents.

This Holiday season try slowing down and maybe even better don't celebrate the traditional Christmas stuff but rather celebrate the everlasting Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST!

WHATCHA THINKING ABOUT!
2 Cor 10:7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance?....

...and react in some way. We tend to not think but just react on our feelings regardless of the situations. It is easy to be controlled by our emotions and sinful flesh.

But we are told to "THINK" in scripture and take our thoughts captive. Paul tells us in 2 Cor 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
We are to take "EVERY" thought captive. EVERY means EVERY! Now I know some of you are saying NO one can do that and then just dismiss this and do nothing. It is easy to dismiss and do nothing because that's what we want to do to begin with. NOTHING! BUT by doing nothing you will walk after the flesh and sin and sin brings death, both to you and to those you love. So don't dismiss this.

While you are right no one will take every thought captive, we can grow in taking 1 thought, than 2, than 3 and so on! Until we are taking 80-90% of our thoughts captive and walking in victory and bringing them to obedience in Christ.

Now what does that look like... well most of us "feel" things before we even know what we are thinking. When you feel sad, depressed, or down,... stop and think about why. If you are feeling anxious about something, say to your self what is it I am scared of or fearful about. If you just feel crummy or a death like way ask your self why! If you feel hurt, unloved or rejected by someone, past or present just admit it and realize that you are thinking fleshly sinful thoughts.

Why do I say sinful, because that is not what God has given you and is not of FAITH! God has given you life and accepted you, and loves you and you feel rejected and sad, than that is not Godly righteous or faithful so bring those thoughts in line with what God has said and done for you...and renew your mind in truth until your emotions are showing you that your thinking is right! Our emotions are not to be controlling us and we are not to be catering or nursing them. Are emotions are to be used to tell us what we are thinking as well as using them to worship God!
So STOP and THINK and take EVERY thought captive and tell yourself the truth! That you are child of God who is deeply loved, totally accepted and completely forgiven in Christ! Make it a habit of "THINKING" about what you are "THINKING ABOUT"!
as always in Christ love.

The Old Testament was by Faith too!
The Old Testament was written and given to Israel! The Old Testament contains the Laws and ordinances that bring about a Holy communion with God and others. Israel was to follow these laws which would tell them of their sin so that they would turn in faith to God! They were to walk by faith and to show that faith by their works.

But Israel over time forsook God and began to worship other gods as well as make everything into a religion. Now religion is "just going through" and doing the laws or standards that are necessary without faith!

We can do that too can't we! We can go to church, maybe read our bible occasionally or say something spiritual without any faith at all! We can say we are Christians based on our family background or our parent's beliefs but never commit ourselves. Sometimes I hear of people who "ONLY" want the benefits of being "good" or trying to do what is right so that they will "feel" better about themselves or have a good marriage or a good life! BUT God sees the heart, the devotion, the true belief and desire for Him!

Don't just go through the motions saints! Don't just say you are a Christian and do whatever you want as religion does. Give WHOLEHEARTEDLY to JESUS for HE has already given you HIS LIFE!
Remember the CROSS, the GRACE, and the LOVE OF CHRIST FOR YOU and THANK HIM BY FAITH!!!

Ministry!
I recently read a blog post by a minister. He said that he was tired and wanted to take a sabbatical ( a rest or break) from ministry because he had given so much. He said he had many say that his counseling and teaching ministry had helped them and that they thought it was so needed in the Body today! That they do not know what they would have done without his ministry. YET he went on to say that while many regarded his ministry as what reconciled them to God and their marriage or family many did not support financially! He said that he thought many just believe and say " the ministry will get by without them giving because God will take of him"!

Now I can relate to that in many ways because I hear the same thing from those I help too! So many want help but refuse to give to help the ministry help others. YET as Paul said that Jesus said: " it is better to give than to receive"!
God never promised you or me financially anything for being in the ministry or for sharing the gospel in any way! What he did say was share with a grateful, thankful, loving heart!

1Cor 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! 17 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me. 18 What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel. 19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
