HOWARD'S BLOG
WOW!!!
I recently spent some time in the E.R. I had seen some of the same nurses as before because they stood out to me. They stood out because I could not tell if they were men or women. They were in some sort of crossing over period.

Now not only do I see this as sin because God says it sin but just in normal conversation it is hard to know what to say. "Thank you, sir," or "thank you maam"? Which is it? I never call someone that I know was once a man, like a Bruce Jenner by their female name that they may go by now. He will always be Bruce Jenner to me and to God!!!

BUT when you don't know who they were before and can't distinguish especially with mask on, it causes even more confusion and offence! There is no need to offend someone on purpose, yet they may be offended by the gospel regardless!

In the day and age, we are in there are a lot of "professing to be wise" but they are not and they "worship the creature " instead of God!
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections:

DON'T WORSHIP THE CREATURE BUT THE CREATOR AND STAND FIRM SAINTS!

Nothing is impossible with God!
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD!
Luke 1:26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. 28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. 34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

This Christmas remember that nothing is impossible with God. While God is dispensing certain things at different times His POWER has never changed for, He is God!  God Loves you Dear Saints and desires to spend time with you so allow yourself at this busy time of the year to sit and ponder on Him and His Love for you.

Merry Christmas,
Howard and Robin

Have a CHRIST-FILLED CHRISTMAS!
CHRISTMAS!
This is the time of year that we celebrate Christ birth. Even though we know that Christ was not born in December! OOPS! Sorry you did not know that! I did not mean to spoil your Christmas experience but to bring true biblical meaning only.

Well lets see how I can make this teaching as short as possible and still get the point across.

In the book of Luke we see that John the baptist Father, Zechariah was a priest that served in the course of Abijah. He served in the 8th course which would hae been between our months of May-June. His wife then became pregnant at that time with John and 6 months later Mary was pregnant. Which would have been in December our time. So Christ was NOT born in December but conceived in December!
Luke 1:5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
Luke 1:13  But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
Luke 1:26  And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
Luke 1:27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
Luke 1:31  And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

Now remember it is not Christ birth that was different but His conception was by the Holy Spirit and unto a virgin. His birth was like any other human, and in September. Now that does not sound very snowy or festive but it is biblical. To add and speaking of festive at the time He was born would have been the time for the  feast of Tabernacles for Israel!!!
Lev 23:34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.

That festive time is the time that God freed them and brought them out of Egypt and that lived in booths. A booth is a covering and protection and a TABERNACLE! Jesus was born to be our covering, protector and TABERNACLE!

So this Christmas remember that the greatest gift is that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born to be our LIFE GIVEING TABERNACLE IN HIM!!!!

Giving and Receiving!
Giving and Receiving!
Phil 4:15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. 16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

Paul thanks the Philippian church for their giving and supplying his needs as he ministered to those through out his ministry. The need is great as it allows for more teaching to be done. It allows Paul to focus on the gospel and what is most important to his heart and that is sharing Jesus Christ crucified and risen to a lost world. This reconciling work that God has done through His Son, Jesus is of the most importance to Paul!

Our ministry is that same thinking and it takes time to teach and reach folks with the fellowship of the mystery. The revelation of the grace of God is still foreign to so many saints while being saved still live in bondage to tradition and law!

Givng and receiving is the way God operates today. Buying and selling is the worlds way but God gives and we receive, Then we give and others receive. I ask that you pray and consider giving a year end donation to help minister to those who come for individual or marriage counseling as well as group bible studies. We need your prayer and financial support to continue to minister this GREAT GRACE AND LOVE OF GOD!

Not the external things but internal things that count!!!
It's not the external things but the internal things that count!!
Rom 14:16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of: 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. 18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. 19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Our tendency as humans is to look at the external things in life. The things we can see and touch. Things that we can do and perform and control. The things that we think are important Paul says are not!

What is important is the internal things. The things you can not see like the Spirit of God IN YOU! Now you can see the manifestation of the Spirit working from the inside out but you can not see or touch the Spirit within man. You can see the fruit of the Spirit but you can not see the Spirit.

We see preachers preaching and making a big deal out of how many they water baptized and came up front in the church and saying these things are important but they are not. We see those who teach prosperity and healing as signs of the spirit or obedience but they are not! We see those who say you must speak in other tongues or you are not saved, but that is not true either.

What is important is the internal things like righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit! These things are the important things. These things are what makes a person know they are accepted and approved by God and men.

STOP looking at your external performance and start looking at your internal Spirit. STOP looking for signs to edify you and start walking by faith.

If you can see and touch it then it takes no faith. Faith is believing in what you can not see, touch or control. So put faith in Christ works and what He has done and accomplished. Put your faith in Christ and you will be worshiping God. God has reconciled the believer and made Him a New creature in Christ that is saved, secure and sanctified. A New creature that is loved, accepted and forgiven in Christ. A New thing that has been transformed from the inside out!

Spirits!
1Ch 10:13 So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it; 14 And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.

Saul did not listen nor seek God's counsel and he paid the price for it. Saul thought he knew more than God and sought his own path instead of God's path! He turned to others with the same evil heart and spirit. Self centered interest instead God's interest will hurt us every time.

We should be so grateful that God does not deal with us in this same way as Saul. He does not kill us because we fail and sin. We who are regenerated believers today under grace and bought by the blood of Christ are safe in that regard. But never think that it is wise or Ok to go to other spiritual mediums or horoscope type things. Don't think it is good to go to non Christians and someone who does not have God's best interest for your life.

Now I won't say to not seek advice from others because that is what the body of Christ is for and will do, but they should point you to Christ and His Word! They should want what God wants for you and that is righteousness, freedom and devotion to Him.

Don't be a Saul and turn to man or spirits of Satan but rather turn to the Holy Spirit and God's Word for your life decisions!

A time for everything!
A time for everything!
Ecc. 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5.....

I recently was watching a movie based on the union organizer Jimmy Hoffa. Now Hoffa was not a nice guy but the union was something that was needed at the time. Business owners in the early 1900's took advantage of hard working folks. In fact much of what we have set up today in our normal labor pool is because of the union. 40 hour weeks are now common compared to 70-80 or more hours, and were worked without over time or pay at all. Vacation pay and health insurance are now common and needed and again came through the union.

BUT like everything greed and power comes in and ruins the thing that actually was needed. When man creates things it will eventually fail. But if it is God's creation it will NEVER FAIL!!!

There is a time for everything but only through Christ is their ETERNAL LIFE! Seek heavenly Godly things and keep focused on Him! He will never ever fail!
Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Submission to "THE" authority!
Submission to "THE" authority!
Israel had everything they ever needed to be saved yet they went about it all the wrong way! They had the covenants of promise and they Knew God as well as they had the law but they misused the law and went about trying to be righteous without God!
Romans 10:1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

It seems that we are still doing this. We go about using the Word of God in our own way and trying to be righteous according to our thinking. We misuse the Word of God to our own advantage. We manipulate the word and make our own standards and laws.

I have seen couples come for counseling and the man will say "isn't she suppose to give herself to me"? He is quoting the bible but misusing it in a demanding way to get his needs met! I usually says "Yes" the bible does say that but it also says to first "love" your wife and be "understanding" with her.

This is how many saints are today when it comes to submitting to authority! This is how the child is toward parents and wives toward husbands and husbands toward God! This is how citizens are toward city, state and federal government authorities and how this anti-government/authority thing that is going on today!

There is balance and right ways to handle talking to authority. While the wife may be right about a particular issue in the family and something the husband is doing wrong,... if she goes in calling him names and demanding her way, (even if her way is right) she is still sinning. How we handle things is just as important as the issue that needs to be handled!!!!

First we need to "submit to "THE" authority which Jesus Christ our Lord. Then we need to have a heart of "submission" to our earthly authority in our own lives. A heart of submission says "I will follow the authority up to the point of them asking me to sin directly", NOT INdirectly! Meaning we may think there is some conspiracy going on with a husband, boss or government but unless they ask you to steal, lie or kill.... for example, it is not direct! Just because you "think" they are evil does not mean we should not submit. ALL authority to some extent sins! Even YOU in authority!

So learn to be free through submission and you will be submitting to "THE" authority!
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Fighting the Govenment!
Fighting the Government!

I so often hear Christians fighting against the government. The interesting thing is that the bible specifically address this. Lets read Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

It tells us to follow the government and honor them.  It does not tells to works "against" but rather to work "with". Now does that mean I have to agree with everything NO, but it does say to  have a different heart than what the world has toward the government.

Sometimes I think that believers act worse than non- believers. We are to be the example not the problem. We should stand for authority and discipline. We should cooperate with, rather than rebel against. Even when we disagree we should do so with respect and honor NOT out of bitter resentment or vengeance!

Peter says this
1 Peter 2:13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
1 Peter 3:17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

You see we don't help or fix anything when we rebel against the government or authority we make things worse. We make things worse for the authority and ourselves. For you see your conscience is at stake! Romans 13:5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

The Word of the Lord!
THE WORD OF THE LORD!
Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
Psalm 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.

When I read different types of books I often get a very descriptive picture from the author. Hemmingway for instance is very descriptive. He tells how the person looks in great detail or what the scene is like in detail. The mountains were big, snowing and cold with green pine trees all around and so on and so on. Sometimes I want to say lets get on with it I don't need to know what is like in that great of detail . Lets get to the issue and point!!!

While "the Word of the Lord' is said through out the bible, it too can be descriptive but not so much that it gets boring unless your going through Numbers, HA! But the point is that God put in His Word what He wanted us to know and what He didn't want us to know!

His Word is perfect and right and true!! His word is life giving and whole and Holy!

Read His Word, After all His Word is His SON!
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.                                               ... 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Ministry!
All Ministry!

All ministry needs support! Ministry always needs prayer support. All of us are to pray for all the dear saints and as Paul said for him also.
Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak

Paul wanted prayer so that he would be bold and for any opportunity to share the mystery of the gospel. He wanted and asked for prayer and although his confidence came from Christ he also would need to be encouraged  by others.

All ministry needs financial support. No matter what in order to minister you must eat and live like any other person. So if you work a secular job to support your family and then teach a bible study or pastor a church or if you are paid a salary from your church or do both your ministry is supported. So no matter what financial support is needed for every ministry.

Paul said this in 2 Corinthians 11:8  I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.
Now Paul did not literally rob the churches he meant he took financial support from them so that he could minister and serve the churches. He was on a mission and needed help.

Some ministries are different yet the goal should be the same. For instance some are a study and only takes a hour or so each week. Some ministries might be to build a home for some folks and financial support of some kind will be needed for materials and labor perhaps. But the goal should still be to share the gospel. Another ministry may be feeding the hungry while all at the same time feeding the mind with the gospel.

My ministry is teaching and counseling the gospel. Teaching folks how to walk by faith and reconcile with others. Counseling hearts as well as feeding their minds with sound doctrine so that can live through Christ and have a victorious Christian life!

This ministry takes time and a all day type of thing. It is not backed by any organization nor do we sell products to support it. We take no salary from any church and so I ask that you consider financially supporting this ministry like any other missionary. Please pray about being a monthly or one time giver in order to share this great gospel of Jesus Christ!

Those of you who already support this ministry we thank you and please remember we also pray for you all.
In God's Grace,
Howard

MONEY AND MEDIA!! MISERY AND MISCHIEF!
1 Timothy 6:10  For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

MONEY AND MEDIA!! MISERY AND MISCHIEF!
As I have been watching a documentary on William Randolph Hearst the newspaper mogul of the 20th century, I have seen how even the media can make and control the world. The media left seems to only share the negative, sensual and attention getting news. After all bad news sells papers, or in todays times advertising and politics.

Whatever makes money and power is the key to the media and they can control much more than people think. Hollywood and Washington are joined in this as they lose with bad publicity. When the public does not like you, you don't get votes and you don't sell tickets to the movies and therefore your income and power goes down or  in some cases eliminated!!!

Many of the top national anchors make millions a year in their salaries. It had been reported that Matt Lower and Katie Couric both made some where up to 20 million a year for doing the Today show in the morning! Now these people need to make the news sensational. The networks need to make it bigger and repeat it often. Some anchors have even been fired for making up stories to sell and be even more sensational.

The so called polls that are taken for politics are shown over and over to the public, so how many times do the people who run for office look at them after all it affects them more directly then it does us. You see the media is powerful and whoever controls the media, news and the word that gets out can control almost every aspect of daily life.

This is why Hitler, Stalin and others have come to power. This is how the small minority groups like the LGBQT can become so powerful without being the majority! They don't stop talking and they don't stop getting the word out. They get headlines and they talk as if they are victims and therefore we need to help them become equal. The sad thing is that they don't really want equality they want to control and be in charge! And they want us to be like them!

Don't fall for this communist socialism or Nazism or LGBQT victim mentality as being normal for it is NOT!!! Speak up and share the gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the ONLY answer that is NOT self motivated and gives LIFE!!!!

THE GOOD OLD DAYS?
THE GOOD OLD DAYS?
My father in law used to say "the good old days weren't so good"! What he met was that we often look back and think when we were young how great it was. We stop and think there were certain morality and goodness that didn't cross the line. Yet God says nothing is new under the sun
Ecclesiastes 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. 10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

The "good old days" weren't so good as sin was then too. They had disease and storms and yes even world wars! They were stock market collapse and people die from starvation even more than today. The "good old days" are gone and regardless if they were better or worse we must deal with what we have today. The present is what is important to an extent but perhaps even more important is the future.

Your future is important. Where will you be a month, a year or even spend eternity. Are you in Christ? and if so,  Will you stand for Christ now or a month from now? Will you spend your life serving Christ and only Christ or is the family, job or money more important to you? Who do you serve? What you do today will affect your future!

The good old days may have been good or not for you, but they are behind us now. Make up your mind who you will serve today for your future is at stake! Serve the Lord with all heart by giving your self to Him. By receiving His love you are saying You are my God to whom I serve. By resting in Him you are saying I need no other comfort from anyone or anything else and therefore He is your God! By being obedient in heart and mind you are saying "I serve You Lord Jesus"!

The "good old days" may not have been so good So Make "today" your "good old days"!!!

False Prophets that teach Liberty under Law!
False Prophets that teach Liberty under Law!

WHAT? Freedom under Law??? COME ON MAN!

When reading these verses we see Peter is writing to those who go through that tribulation period, but we still get a great deal of understanding from this Hebrew epistle.

2 Peter 2:1  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
... 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Now the law comes back into play in that tribulation period to distinguish the difference but they are to keep that Law by faith in the Messiah, Jesus Christ. We see that there will be false teachers that will promise freedom "IF" they follow them. They will teach liberty while keeping the law without Christ. They are promising freedom while still pushing things of the law only. This is false because there is no freedom under law. There is no freedom apart from Christ.

We see this today just as much and perhaps more, under the grace age. That folks preach liberty while putting you back under law. You may say they don't push the law at my church but do you still keep ordinances of any kind.

The Catholics have 5-7 that must be done. The protestant churches keep at least 2 and some 3-4. Baptism and communion are ordinances given to the nation of Israel UNDER LAW! Tithing is UNDER LAW! Washing feet is UNDER LAW!

There are NO ordinances today except for the Law of LOVE under grace and found in CHRIST!

Don't follow teachers and churches and ordinances thinking there is freedom in them, for this just brings more bondage. You are free to praise and worship and live in Christ without the works of the law!

9/11 TODAY!
9/11 TODAY!

20 Years ago today was when the buildings and planes hit the New York building and will go down as one of the worst tragedies on U.S soil from a invading enemy. There was a hijacking over Pennsylvania also and members of that plane bravely sacrificed their lives and fought these hijackers and saved many below in the buildings they were going to hit.

Today we remember this great tragedy as we should. We want to think about the lost loved ones and their families. We want to remember also that while this tragedy is unbelievable and did happened, it did not destroy this GREAT COUNTRY.

We also want to remember and keep in sight that this is nothing new to the world and history. Wars have been going on since time began. Wars between countries,  people and yes in the name of God! James says it like this...
James 4:1  From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Make no mistake about this folks this 9/11 war, is a Spiritual war against Christ, Against freedom and against the God that you worship! This war is lust and pride at its peak. AND This lust, pride and fight is not going away either. And  it is not going away because Al-Qaeda or any other terrorist group took over Afghanistan but because the lust and pride of man continues to build and continues to be the down fall of mans conscience. Paul says this in 2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

FEAR NOT!
Don't be afraid nor back down in professing your faith in Christ in yet don't walk by hate and vengeance just continue to be aware and awake to the sin of hate and arrogance in the name of a god and be willing to forgive! Forgiveness does not mean allowing others to kill or not do do anything it means to allow "THE JUDGE" to judge! We are to still protect and provide God's Love and Word about His son Jesus Christ! Our God and through Jesus is a loving, peace filled and righteous God who was willing to die for us so that we would not need to work to show our devotion to Him but by the giving ourselves by faith we no longer need to perform and show our obedience or trust in outward signs of war or disillusioned methods!

FAKE OR REAL!
Are you Fake or Real?
Sadly the bible talks a lot about being fake or real! Their are those who are not saved or those who are. BUT The ones I am talking about are the ones who pretend to be saved and go to church verses the ones who truly are saved and either go to a church or not. Some saved folks just don't go to a so called organized church but do fellowship with other folks and that is church!

But the ones who say their saved are the ones that do nothing and say nothing spiritually and even live fleshly sinful lives yet want to say and pretend that they know Christ. Their works which are their daily every day living shows the opposite.

This is were the world and yes even some so called Christians say " the church is filled with a bunch of hypocrites". Well there maybe hypocrites in the church but there are a lot more outside and sometimes the ones who say there are a lot of hypocrites are "the hypocrites"!!!

To many folks are fake! Fake in many ways! For one they are not transparent or vulnerable. 2 they are not humble but rather seeking attention by being bossing or a know it all. They want to talk all the time about what they know verses ministering to others and listening to them.

So be real, by being humble, vulnerable and transparent. Be real by seeking the grace of Jesus, the love of God and the communion of the Spirit. Be willing to share the Grace, Love and communion with others and be real by first being truly saved in Christ!!!

Intro makes a big difference!
Intro makes a big difference!
Paul always started his books with a intro of who he was and who he served. We too want to start out with a introduction even if folks know who we are. We can begin a conversation with a "Appeal"! "May I share something with you" You see if you inner into a conversation with yelling or scolding you will always offend before you even get started. So always appeal and began by asking for permission to share. They may not want to talk to you at that time, they may be hurt and upset with you or they are busy and in that case just ask if you can come by at a later date and time. Be willing to stop and start at another time.

Don't be demanding that they listen or that they change for this is sin on your part,... even if the issue to begin with was sin on their part. And don't add to the issue by putting in your 2 cents to the problem.

Lastly be willing to be vulnerable yourself. Share at the appropriate time and say "I felt rejected, hurt or angry...", or "I was wrong",...by using "I" words you are showing that you are taking responsibility for your thoughts, emotions and actions. AND  be sure you have forgiven them before sharing with them. Don't come from a victim mentality but rather someone who knows their identity in Christ and has renewed, and extended forgiveness already. The sharing should be to reconcile, correct, edify or let the person know what the problem was.

And if you just want to talk you can still appeal to them and comfort them by respecting their space and time.
As always with love and grace!

Blogging on things!
Blogging on things!

Blogging on things that go on in the world today is quite a chore! We have the Taliban in Afghanistan and then getting Americans as well as Afghan's out safely. We have the different wars around the world and then we throw in the covid  and covid shot debate and lets not forget the different battles in schools for the mask mandates. There seems to be so much turmoil around the world, as well as in our own country.

My Doctor recently asked me as a pastor what do you tell your people when all this is going on? I told him that I tell them to keep focused on Christ! Don't get caught up in the things of the world. Don't focus on the news and calamity but keep focused on Christ! That does not mean we have to turn off the T.V. but you could!!!! That does not mean we put our head in the sand and not pay attention to things or deal with things if we need too!

AND it does not mean to run in FEAR either! We know where we belong and where we are going and to whom we belong too!!! We have Victory and Peace and Blessings already in us Now!!! So don't get caught up with those folks on T.V  news people who want to create fear which creates more interest, just to line their pocket books OH NO! You keep focused on your heavenly position IN CHRIST and be comforted in that NO MATTER WHAT!!!

Colossians 3:1  If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Carnal or Carnal Christians!
1 Corinthians 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

Paul calls the Corinthian church carnal meaning fleshly! It means by their sinful fleshly desires or to act like a animal in flesh like instinct instead of walking by the Spirit.

Now sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between a Carnal Christian and someone who is just Carnal, meaning Unsaved! A unbeliever is carnal but can actually come across looking pretty good compared to some so called believers. I have seen believers that act and behave worse than many unbelievers, at least they claim to be saved.

Lets look at what Paul says in Titus 1:16  They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

You see our works or our lifestyle should still represent a "Godly" lifestyle. Now I realize that we all sin, but to live life and a lifestyle without understanding or oblivious to sin is not Godly! When folks say "you do not need to clean up yourself before coming to God" that is correct, YET when the Spirit truly regenerates a person the spirit in that saved person is now a Godly Spirit filled saint who is cleansed spiritually and therefore sanctified, set apart in Christ. Now because he or she is sanctified spiritually the process of being sanctified in the Soul and Body will begin to take place and that person now becomes sensitive to Christ and His Word. They become awake, aware and sensitive as well as having a different understanding of Godliness and righteousness. In other words their mind changes and it begins to be Godly and then a transformed mind and body begins to take place.

So when a person is saved with a pure faith and heart things change. To continue to live as a liar, thief or homosexual is counter to living a Godly lifestyle. Conviction and change shows the sincere heart of the believer! A sorrow that leads to true repentance leads to faith in Christ and therefore a act of holiness! Their spirit is alive and their mind begins to desire the word and their body begins to act in righteous behavior. Never confuse the fact that there is not change and that it is not just a professing but a possessing of the SPIRIT OF GOD!

Works of the Law never save but works can show a carnal or faithful heart!

OOPS!
OOPS!! WHY DID PAUL FAIL TO DO AS JAMES SAID TO DO?

...2 Co 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

...James 5:14   Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

Paul could have been healed if he had just followed James's advice couldn't he? Why didn't he do what james said and walked by faith? After all it seems all we need to do is walk by faith and we are healed right! Or walk by faith , get prayed over maybe throw some oil on us and bang we should be healed right!

WELL it doesn't happened that way and no matter how many people say to you, just have faith it does not mean you will be healed. NO it is a different time and a different dispensation. No longer prophecy but mystery and in the mystery program it is not a healing program but a salvation program. It is not a earthy program but a heavenly one. If all it took to be healed was to be faithful than a lot more would be healed and there would be a lot less disease ridden people that is for sure.

Here's a question for you,...If you could be healed of all your sickness and not be saved nor go to heaven  would you do it, many would,...or if you could be saved and go to heaven and NOT be healed which would you take!!! You see this is how it works today.

Don't get down and think your not being faithful just because you are not healed!
Paul wasn't healed and I am pretty sure he was faithful!

Howard's Blog
I often hear folks and pastors talk about sin and what is sin. They talk about adultery or divorce and these things need to be addressed for sure. But they often address them from Jesus earthly ministry which was always under the law and under the Old Covenant.

They miss the grace message completely. They do not understand the dispensational change that has happened. Now while adultery is sin it is forgiven. While divorce is sin it is forgiven but it is not that you divorced it is the attitude behind the legality that makes it sin. It is being our own god, acting independent of "THE" God and being selfish that makes it sin!

Now no other sin can be more selfish and controlling than suicide. It is the ultimate in saying "I am God" and I choose to take my life. Yes I know that we struggle and depression is there and these folks are hurting. I AM NOT making light of this at all,  YET it is still a self centered act! The very reason we hurt and struggle is because we are trying to control all of life without Christ. We think we are justified for our feelings and that we are right and everyone else is wrong at least when it comes to emotions.

Suicide is sin, BUT what does the bible say about sin!!!! When did Jesus die for our sins? And did He die for ALL sins or just some or just the ones we confess??? The answer is clear in scripture!

Before you were born He died for your sin!!!
Romans 5:6  For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

He has already forgiven you!!!
Ephesians 4:32  And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

AND He has forgiven you of ALL your sins!!!
Colossians 2:13  And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

The only SIN that is NOT forgiven is the SIN of UNBELEIF! If you are saved, regardless of adultery, divorce or suicide it is still forgiven and you are still in Christ!!!!

NOW with that said let me say that sin of any kind does not edify or build up others or help you in any way! Don't sin because you can, but GIVE as CHRIST GAVE TO YOU!!!!

Somethings not right here?
The Olympics have started and something just does not seem right. There are no fans to watch the games which seems odd. It seems to take away from the atmosphere even though I know that it is all about the competition. Everything seems off and not as exciting.

There are lots of things in life that just seem off and not right. I can see them but I know something is not right. Like when I see two women or men together. I know that scripture say it is sin and it is. So when I see them I see two people that look like two humans but something is just not right. At first they look like they "love" one another, and they hold hands like a man and women would and they act like they are a couple but something is not right!

In the Olympics I see all kinds of shirts and flags that boast about being "Gay". They are pretty with a rainbow but it just does not seem right. If homosexuality is a normal way of life why do they need to keep promoting it to "BE" normal. Something just is not right!

In scripture there are lots of things that seem normal but not right. There are lots of things that are just shadows but not in operation today!
Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

What sometimes seems normal or even ok are actually wrong! They are just shadows of something real they are not real or RIGHT! False truth deceives and that is Satan's number one tool. Take what is real and true and turn it inside out so that our focus is on the wrong things and not on Christ!

... 20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, 21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not; 22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? 23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
Under the covenant's to Israel comes the law and ORDINACES. They are things that are good for Israel but not for us today as we are not under those ordinances, and therefore do not follow the shadows but we follow the real deal, JESUS CHRIST!

What may seem like "love" is not, it is "lust" disguised as love. Don't let mans ways in anything keep you from the REAL DEAL, JESUS!

The Wisdom of God!
The Wisdom of God!
1Co 2:5  That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. 6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

The word wisdom is used 4 x in these verses. Solomon had wisdom and it was given to Him By God! God "is" wisdom and love and grace!
We have the wisdom of God in us as we have God in us. We have the wisdom of God in scripture form too and can access it daily. We can read and understand the wisdom that is already in us. The more we read, renew and rest in the word the more wisdom we have in our soul, which contains our mind, will and emotions.

If you lack wisdom it is because you don't know the word so read and rest until that which is already in you manifest itself in your mind. Don't just be anxious and in a hurry to be Solomon!

Wisdom means to have discernment, knowledge and understanding of something. Well Spiritual discernment comes with devout faith! Being faithful will help you be wise after all the first the thing we need to know is
Pro 1:7  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Walk by Faith, by Walking in Wisdom and Grow in Grace!

One Spirit, One baptism!!!!
I recently read a post on Facebook that said "I don't know why Christians resist the indwelling of the Holy Spirit"! Meaning a second indwelling of the spirit after being saved and proven out by speaking in tongues! They use many verses but here is one....
Act 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. 16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? 18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life. 19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen traveled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.

Now the problem is 2 fold, they forget that the Word was prophesied to Israel that they would receive the Spirit to keep the Law! This is the NEW Covenant given to Israel!!!
Jer 31:31  Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

So this was given to those Jewish saints that believed by faith that Jesus was the Messiah. Notice in Acts 11:19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen traveled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only. Now we need to understand that at that time the transition from Israel to the Messianic church (or the church at the temple we could say) and then to the Body of Christ was taking place at that time.

And because of this transition and the other reason they that teach a 2nd baptism is the fact they do not rightly divide the truth. They do not take into account the "New Creation" called the Body of Christ.

So when you look at todays dispensation we see only ONE LORD, ONE SPIRIT and ONE BAPTISM and ONE TIME SALVATION taken place!!!
1Co 12:13   For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
Eph 4:5   One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Don't let the hyper sensationalist that teach a 2nd indwelling and the speaking in tongues people fool you!!! Stand firm in Christ and that you are indwelled with the Holy Spirit from the day of your salvation! Thank God and Praise Jesus Christ our Lord!

Always the Same, Puts God in A Box too!!!!
I am often called different names such as false teacher, prophet and so on. Any one who teaches expects this at some point and time. Anything different or against mans so called religious thinking gets attacked as being some "false teacher" and while it sounds Spiritual it isn't, it is just religion!

Sometimes I am accused of putting "God in a box" because I say "He does not do this or that today". Many of these accusers will say "God did it before, therefore He does it now".

BUT that puts God in a box also. That means that God can't change His mind or direction with man kind. That says God has to do everything according to the Old Covenant. These religious accusers often quote Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Meaning that God "never" changes therefore "He still" does this or that!!! Oh No, No, No!!! God has changed the dispensations all through the bible several times. He has redirected His will in the way He deals with man and we should be glad He did or we would be in BIG trouble!

While God's character is always the same meaning He is always Holy and Perfect, He has changed and did change how He administers and deals with man based on mans obedience to Him.
God is the same Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever, BUT He can also say "it is finished" or not! The bible is finished and complete and therefore He speaks though His written Word and by His Spirit which is "IN" man! He did talk to man verbally and audibly under the Old Covenant but He can stay silent and speak through His Word and Spirit as He does today.

Don't make the mistake of misusing a verse in order to "PUT" God in box either,  His Word and Body is His Voice today!

Yeshua!
Some times I hear folks say Yeshua meaning Jesus! Yeshua was His name and it really means in Hebrew Joshua which translates Jesus. Now when I hear people use that 9 x out of 10 I know that they are trying to be "spiritual" and act like a Israelite. They want to keep the laws and dress and perform like Jews. The problem is that they are not Jews, nor Israel nor "Spiritual". They are prideful and arrogant and trying to be "more"!

They are wanting to have a "identity"!!! You can not know a so called faithful, normal Christian as he walks down the street and that is because His God and His his Lord are within, but a so called "spiritual" person wants everyone to notice him and say "OH they must be religious because look at how they dress and talk, "THEY ARE......"!

Mat 23:5 " But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments",...

You see we are NOT to stand out as far as our appearance but rather our heart, demeanor and attitude shows the Spirit within. We are NOT took look like we are "spiritual" because we "ARE" spiritual. This is why I say tattoos, long hair and beards are nothing more than trying to "be spiritual" and get attention.  It is our genuine, sincere "good works" that shows our true nature and heart, not by some long haired, tattooed and bearded Jesus looking appearance.

So don't try to be "SUPER SPIRITUAL" and use Hebrew words that you don't use any other time. Speak English (if that is your native tongue or what ever nation and language you are in...) and show the world the spirit that indwells you by preaching the cross, teaching grace and walking by faith. Demonstrate in attitude and love who you are in Christ. Don't seek attention but rather "GIVE" attention to those who need Christ!

Matthew 23:11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted".
