Howard King Ministries
A grace oriented, evangelical, non-denominational and dispensational,
Christian Counseling Ministry.
We follow Paul's purpose, position and pattern for our doctrine!
We believe it gives us our worth, walk and work for the church today!
Our purpose is found in the 4E'S...
Evangelize first and then to Edify, Encourage and Establish the Body of Christ...until Christ is formed in the believer!
We do this primarily through one on one ministry!
What is considered and called by most churches and the world is counseling, but we see it as discipleship!
Evangelizing if needed and teaching the first principles and foundational doctrine that most believers do not know or walk in!
Reconciling first to God and then to spouses, family and one another!
We also teach by bible studies, small groups, home fellowships and through church and conferencing!
Our doctrine is found in the REVELATION.......
Rom.16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
........and FELLOWSHIP of the MYSTERY!
Eph. 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
We follow Paul as Paul followed Christ!
and believe that the Lord gave Paul special instructions for the church today
called The Body of Christ which is A New Creation!
That Adam sinned and
That man is born in Adams nature spiritually lost and "in' sin!
That man needs a savior, and can not save himself!
That man has a choice by his free will to receive life in Christ by faith or to reject Christ!
That man only has one nature, at a time, a sinner OR a saved Saint! (and once saved always saved...)
That Jesus is God's son sent from heaven and Born of a virgin!
That Jesus was Israel's promised Messiah and that Israel rejected Him, killed Him,
and then rejected Him again after He rose from the dead!
That Israel's national salvation has been put on hold after their fall from grace
but will be received again in the final days!
THAT SALVATION IS BY FAITH IN:
the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ alone!
1 Co 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
That Jesus is the Propitiation that appeases God's wrath against man for eternity!
and that a saved, sealed and secure man is
is Reconciled to God by faith!
is Justified by faith before God, in Christ!
is Regenerated by the Spirit into a new creature!
is Spiritually positioned in Christ and lives in Christ!
and has ALL the spiritual blessings in the heavenly places now!
That the Holy Spirit is at work around the world drawing and seeking man to come to Christ!
Ephesians 4 gives us our doctrine of ONE!
Therefore there is No other way or understanding to be saved and /or sanctified!
1.One God-God the Father
2.One Lord-Jesus the Son of God
3.One Spirit-The Holy Spirit
4.One Body-The church, Christ Body
5.One Faith-Saved by faith and by faith receiving God's Word, Son and Spirit
6.One Baptism-Into Christ Body and is Spiritual only
7.One Hope-In Christ now and In His Return
I DO NOT BELIEVE IN!
Sometime it is good to also include things we do not believe in.
This may not be a complete list but gives a general point on certain topics!
1. We reject Calvinism- that God chose certain men only and not all men to be saved before time began!.
2. We reject that man must be water baptized and that a food/wine communion is needed.
3. We reject a charismatic and prosperity message!
4. We reject that the sign gifts are needed for today as well as any other signs for salvation or fellowship!
5. That healing of the outward body is no longer of greater importance but rather the spirit is whole in Christ!
